Maybe Bill has a set of stories that he pulls from each time he needs to virtue signal.
Like this:

Feeling good because of overflow of asspats = I was a popular artistic kid who everybody loved!
Hungry for asspats = I was a shy bullied kid in school who was harassed constantly! I had a boyfriend who sexually harassed me!
Feeling insecure = All the boys at school were jealous of me and my popularity with the girls! The principal/school therapists examined closely because I'm so special!

I actually think it's probably because her childhood was so absolutely uneventful that she constantly bounces back and forth between "I was a beloved angel" to "I was a hated, emotional wreck of a tranny" in an attempt at making her own life seem more eventful. I mean, every other famous trans person usually has some interesting background like dealing with dysphoria for years or being forced to go homeless because their parents disowned them, but all Labelle has is "I was just some super awkward effeminate boy who loved sewing and other girly stuff and suddenly decided I wanted to be trans after my friend on DA mentioned it to me and my family was pretty okay with it." She's had a pretty mediocre life as far as trannies go, so with her being a massive attention whore with an unhealthy lust for pity it's only natural that she'd try to add in some stuff to keep up her image.

I think, this holds quite a lot of truth in it. Though I still believe that everything she puts out there does hold a grain of truth as well, since a life is long. But putting every small little detail out there to be something that only happens to uncertain trans kids is silly.
So far we had:
- Ran to grandparents after problems with parents and grandma taught her how to sew:
Probably the result of her being difficult with her parents, as kids can be, especially those mentally "challenged". I highly suspect, since Stephie is more or less who Sophie wishes to be, that her dad kept wishing she'd knock off the whole gayness and later girl stuff, because he missed having a son. Most likely, non of Billys parents/grandparents were even that bad. They just had different views on the situation, which is understandable.
-Had a way too old boyfriend:
I think, along with this guy being into little confused boys, that Billy probably chose him for two reasons. For one, he readily accepted him, and the other aspect was that Billy wanted some sort of parent figure that just downright accepted him and his quirks.
-Was popular with the girls for the art, but also bullied beyond belief:
School is long. I think, the whole "popular" thing was brought up to be whilst he still was more or less just a femme boy. After the DA incident, he started wearing dresses and let his hair grow, which resulted in the "severe bullying" (though I am sure that he was picked on before that too) that pretty much any awkard kid has to face at some point. I am sure, everyone here has gotten their fair share of bullies at some point in school life. It's part of school and learning how to deal.
-The whole "boyfriend dumped me after I withheld the fact that my vaginas is a fake one" :
More or less Billy was scared of the guy dumping him from the start, so he waited until they had sex multiple times ( 3 times probably being the magic number) and THEN told him, as if that would make him want to stay more. The whole problem was the missing honesty though, along with sex =/= loving someone, something Billy just doesn't get.
Somewhere, I am sure it's ALL true, but that Billy just perseved all of it with him being the victim, so that the stories don't fit together in the long run.

From what I can tell the transphobic boyfriend thing happened before Billie's alleged SRS. I think he was just a regular gay dude who dumped Billie for a myriad of reasons, and the trans thing was the crazy straw that broke the camel's back. Billie just retroactively decided it was spur of the moment transphobia.
