Taiwan is the only East Asian region where gay marriage and trans rights are legal. If current trends stay intact in Taiwan, it will only be a few decades before criticizing troons gets you jailed or gets you blocked by every private payment processor in Taiwan, much like it is in Europe, the US, and Canada. Tibet has historically been a mountainous feudal shithole that is mostly upheld through subsistence farming. Unless you have an autistic obsession with discussing attempted CIA-funded Chinese coups in the late 1980s, the people of Taiwan, China and Tibet, China objectively have more freedom of speech and expression on the Internet and in general than anyone does anywhere in the corporate, capitalist-controlled globohomo West.
