The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

All they had to do was copy-paste the same bullshit from the previous game and they would have made so much money.

But this just underscores that not once did these people actually care about the people buying the video games, and that TLOU2 was never anything more than Neil's ego trip on proving he was better than everybody else.

I like how we have basically just quietly moved on from Factions in the wake of the TV show. Remember the multiplayer for TLOU2 that was supposed to come out YEARS ago? Nobody else seems to.
I'm not convinced even one of the 15 GaaS sony had in development will ever be released, let alone be a huge fortnite success like they were banking on
They killed ALL their small but consistent profit games to bet it all on GaaS and TLoU/Horizon/Spiderman.GoW repeating their success forever

Oh man, you mean the game they announced as a multiplayer mode, and then a year later said “okay, we’re gonna make it it’s own game! Here’s a piece of concept art!” and said it’d be coming in a year again, and then nothing came out never actually got made?

I think the ratio of psychopaths among criminal lawyers and politicians aren't higher than among fucking "monetization designers".

Holy shit, imagine having this job.
Imagine how fucking bad it must have been for him to leave after less than a year.

I remember when they only developed Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter. But they're good for being movies and not actual games. (:_(
Man I miss jak so bad. Are they doing anything with him? I haven't heard about a movie.

That's because entertainment corpos (most who hang out with Epstein in his private island) are desperate to act like they know a thing or two about politics, when they don't.

I think most of them have a psychology background.
Before it became a trend, they used to hire specialists in behavior and addiction so they could tune the gameplay loop perfectly to guide players into buying microtransactions. This is one of the reasons why every lootbox you get has that slot machine and coin sound effect when you open them.

It's like two years old, and despite how much I hate it and think it's a shit game it's a great looking graphically, what could they possibly do to touch it up?

The only reason I can think of why they would do this is they plan on retconning Joel's death and or Abby's character due to the popularity of Joel in the TV series.

They’re not gonna retcon anything, they’re just going to use the success of the show to sell the game at full price again.

Druckmann's ego is way too big to even accept that he fucked up the characters.
TLoU2 is HIS creation, just like TLoU-remake was his and not Straley's.
