Maybe about a week for Israel to push back and for tensions to die down slightly. But I got a feeling that this incident is going to be a the start of Total Palestine Death. You already know what happens with you embarrass the powers that be. They already declared war on Palestine and I doubt they are going to just only push them back inside their strip this time. I mean, Hamas somehow got one over on Israel and actually managed to launch an invasion. No way they are going to let that happen again.

Given the amount of atrocities on video I doubt the Israeli government has the option to descalate and survive politically. This is going to be a redecoration mission in Gaza.

This attack feels like a suicide mission with the sole intent to "touch" the untouchables. With the decade of ramp up and alliances formed between Radical Islamists of all variety it was really only a matter of time before something like this would happen. I'm just worried that the surrounding countries look at the chaos and think, "Oh what the hell," and decide to throw their hats in the ring since the power is out and the Iron Curtain is down.

I am confused by the fact that the Israeli civilians haven't gone all rooftop Koreans. They have compulsory military service for both sexes in a country surrounded by other countries that want them exterminated, where are the fucking civilian snippers? The fact that the Israeli commander was cowering in his basement instead of death before dishonour was just fucking shameful.

It is a common misconception that Israel has epic US style gun rights. Those photos of Israelis at beaches and other public spaces with CAR-15s and other rifles are off duty IDF conscripts that are required to retain a weapon on their off time during service. Israel has gun rights comparable to Mexico, ie very crappy and difficult to legally own a firearm.

I want to root for palestine here so bad but I know damn well that these sand people don't care about any God or Country.
It's hard to pick a side when both would torture and rape anything they didn't already penetrate with lead.
I hate sounding faggy but it legitimately makes me sick to my stomach to see videos of the mutilated corpses of families in their cars or homes.

Both sides stand atop a pile of corpses of their own peoples dead while they clash with one another in this conflict. It is sad that civilians and innocents must die in the fighting but such tragedy is generally par for the course in this part of the world.

One week the IDF buries some Palestinian apartment block in rubble and the next some Israeli woman gets snatched up by a Hamas militant and you can guess what happens. Lots of gray morality to go around for all.

Where there is a will there is a way. We've had years of ISIS jihadi crazies who livestream beheadings being dubbed "moderate rebels" by the MSM. Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to journos.

There is a difference here though. Syria had multiple factions the MSM could cherry pick from. Palestine only has Hamas. And only Hamas is gunning down civilians in their homes.
