No offense but I've noticed this seems to be a trend throughout all of Jewish history, especially militarily. The F-22 Raptor is an Air Superiority fighter meant to minimize radar detection and engage enemy aircraft.

The goal is to use long range missiles and stealth to destroy enemy aircraft before being detected.

Hamas does not have an air force. So the need of an fighter meant to dominate the enemies aircraft is unnecessary.

As to them being "fast", this is Gaza:



It's about three miles wide and 20 miles long. With the F-22 stall speed being around 180 MPH the plane will cover the entire length of the area in about 7 minutes.

That is complicated by the fact that area the attacks originate is a dense urban shithole making surgical attacks a pain in the butt.



This is not considered the fact the stealth coating needs to be replaced / maintained and the fact Israel doesn't have F-22's to begin with.

Acting gleeful about random people being raped and murdered, or dragged out of their beds in the middle of the night for a fate worse then death is really shitty. Nobody deserves that sort of thing to happen, and the fact that Hamas did all this means they have moved this way past what can be considered "resistance". Israel is fully justified in razing their shitty megacity to the ground, and I expect that is what they intend to do.

This is literally the best chance the Israelis will ever have to do anything substantial about "Palestine" with essentially hands off policies from their allies and the unwillingness of their enemies to retaliate. They could do anything up to and including dropping a tactical nuke on Gaza with no repercussions other than a sternly worded letter and some meaningless sanctions that would be gone in 2 years or less.

The fact that they will do nothing other than dropping millions of dollars worth of ordnance on unoccupied buildings, turning off the power, and causing traffic jams at ECPs is very telling. A little depressing, but mainly very, very telling.
