With all the fun footage of western Muslims celebrating Palestine, I want to kind of emphasize that a lot of even super liberals in the west don't like that. Like old boomers who have voted for diversity and inclusion and pro-EU policies their entire life because their parents fought in WW2 and they never want another war in their lifetime again. The Arabs waving Turkish flags when Erdogan wins or Palestinian flags when Hamas is conducting an insurgence to kidnap, rape, and torture civilian and POW women -- they see this shit and they think "wow you have it so good here and you have democracy and freedom and shit and you're still like this". They really do get surprised when the Arabs are rejecting a multicultural civic nationalism that only appears in football games and instead are still hyperfundamentalists for their home countries.

It's a sort of sad irony that the boomers who voted for so much ruin will get to see how misplaced their optimism was in the twilights of their lives.

The Shahed is the name for UCAVs used by the Iranian military. Think it's a pretty big stretch to assume one is in the area in Israel of all places, considering it's not like you can see anything in the middle of the night. It should be noted there are multiple kinds of Shahed drones.

China better hurry up, elections are coming soon and I don't think Sleepy Joe will get to keep office for long.

It's not a failure if the design spec was exceeded, that's how those sorts of things work. If a defensive system is rated up to X, and you exceed X, the defensive system has not failed, it has simply had an attacked that was beyond what it was designed to defend against used against it.
Iron Dome previously had a 90% intercept rate across fifty days and 4K rockets fired, with ~70 rockets actually managing to land that were fired from gaza.
That was over fifty days, the muzzies managed to launch five thousand rockets over the space of just one in this attack. The defence system probably still maintained its 80-90% intercept rate, but it was just a simple case of the sheer volume of munitions fired meant that more made it through than when the attacks were spaced out.

I think the real failure, was A) The muzzies managing to punch their way through the Israeli border seemingly without effort, and B) The Israeli military intelligence missing this attack coming. (If they did indeed, miss it coming.)
