You make a good point and yes it's possible, but if that happens it doesn't change the fact that JF is spinning a very unrealistic story that would make anyone very suspicious. If it turns out to be 4D chess attention trolling by "Mama & Papa JF " everyone here in this thread (as well as anyone talking about it on their social media) would be justified in their suspicions of him given just how guilty he is making himself sound.

I have two possible interpretations for this:
If they do they live on another floor and are entirely cared for by his mother there, or someone else. Neighbors reported seeing the kids at their residence at times, and seeing JP with one of them.
My interpretation is that he obviously did not want to talk about it but didn't feel like outright rejecting it, so he gave just straight up bullshit answer which may have happened like one time. I think at this point he was starting to get progressively annoyed.
