Other than probably unwinding on crack to forget his losses watching him reminisce on early 2000’s skating videos is oddly entertaining. I hope we get another skateboard stream, it was great watching him do kickflips and touching grass for once (and by grass I don’t mean weed, otherwise most streams would be “touching grass” streams)

He's so psychologically broken. The phrase "I finally have money of my own" at the beginning really hit me coming from a 30 year old. Like a most people my age in the US I had a small allowance I did chores for as a kid, did lawn mowing type odd jobs around the neighborhood before working part time in high school and full time in the summers, and was a normal working person thereafter. Being that old and not even feeling like you have your own money, let alone being self-sufficient, is so alien to me.

It's not like I never made horrible financial decisions as a dumbass kid either. I've been hard up, broke, and in debt. It just never lasted so long or been so bad I couldn't see a way out even if I didn't chose it because I was being a lazy bitch. I also always paid all of my bills and had excellent credit even if I didn't have two nickels to rub together after. I'd be surprised if Austin's parents didn't make him do chores for an allowance as a kid, but he never progressed beyond that. His mother gives him a daily allowance to this day. He lies, steals, and begs for everything he has and loses all of it, then starts anew.

I just can't even imagine that as a grown ass man.

Turns out it's even a lot worse than this: i'm watching and now a little more than 9 minutes in, he is BACK at 1,3k USD, so there's less than 5 minutes for him to actually lose that much. Insanity, repeatedly:
