2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Hot take:

I think that this war is a clear indicator that humanity has stagnated.

Not enough of humanity is pursuing new frontiers, such as ocean exploration (I'm not memeing), or space exploration. As a result, we are overbreeding and cramming ourselves too close together all over, and we're just killing each other.

It's time to return to le hecking science. No, not the tranny butcher and stitcher science, but actual mathematics and aerospace science. I want to see us launch millions of humans in different directions colonizing every single object in the stars.

tl;dr: Leftist libcuck Demonrat Let's Go Brandon propaganda has stagnated our technological progress and is preventing the Man In The High Castle future from occurring where we are actually innovating.

Edit: Whichever janny stealth edited my post, thinking I wouldn't notice, fuck you.
Edit 2: I couldn't find a particular post. I am a retard. I am retarded. Carry on your discussion, everyone.
Hot take: all of these atrocities have occurred since the beginning of time (and multiple times during your lifetime) but you Zoomers are so fucking historically illiterate that you think it's just starting today. It only feels more common now because social media more readily brings it to light. Fuck off.

Hamas beginning to understand what is habbening and what is going to be habbening. Too late. Israel isn't going to stop this time
Let's hope so.

If Hamas actually starts begging openly I could see that swaying the onlooking states to pressure Israel more than they're doing now (which is basically not at all). Hamas would then still have to give themselves up completely and let their org be dissolved so I don't really see them actually going for the white flag routine.

Israel just blew up the third oldest church in the world, the Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza. Hearing some people say on twitter they intentionally targeted it, others that it wasn't intentional and was just one of those "happy little accidents" that always seem to go the way Israel wants to go.

Oct 9 (Reuters) - A senior Hamas official said the group is open to discussions over a possible truce with Israel, having "achieved its targets."

Does someone want to explain to the senior hamas official that punching someone and quickly asking for a truce so they don't beat the snot out of you stopped working after you left the playground?

Yea ima be honest i think they are panicking
US Carrier strike groups tend to induce that emotion. The problem with these hamas chimps is that you can have a plan, a GREAT plan actually, but the moment you initiate said plan; they proceed to chimp the fuck out and lose all sense of logic/strategy. The raping and pillaging was almost immediate, and god knows what hasn't been seen. Pretty hard to have an optics victory when you pretty much hand Israel a "deal with any means necessary" card from all its neighboring countries (and even then they show restraint by going after combatants only). Neighboring countries are looking at this and going "yea, i wouldnt fuck around with that shit either".

Personally, I think the plan was to get Israel emotional (so that they proactively attack other countries like Lebanon, and indiscriminately fire on civilians for retaliation), and/or try to get other countries involved in general. Eventually, this would lead to newfound hostilities amongst all arab countries, including Saudi Arabia. So far that has failed, and hamas seems to no longer want to endlessly lose ground/forces all for Iranian self interest. Too late for that. This will be israels best time to really put a dent into hamas, and i can all but guarantee they will take it.
Aint she just so perty?

Why would it?

Its just a armed militant group aganist a official state, conflicts like that have been happening for most of the 20 and 21 century.
Well, I know Arabs, and Arabs love a good fight! If most of the Middle East helps Palestine it's going to trigger some dominoes. Russia/China/NK/ME are all working together, I guess no one has to get involved but I'm sure there are going to be demands to join a side. Also, the West is fully devoted to Israel It would take a miracle for us not to get involved if it doesn't go well for them. Are two global united coalitions going to enter a war on the same side during one the biggest arms conflicts in recent history as they wage war against each other? I don't think anyone was expecting this, evil is in the air.

So how is it that Israel would lack crucial information about a planned attack but then be able to identify weapons caches and other military targets in such a brief window since the war started?
I don't want to repeat myself in the thread by going into detail, though if that's what you want then check my previous post, but the gist of it is that Israeli intelligence have a track record of underestimating the capabilities of, and thus becoming very complacent with, their Arab foes, while at the same time getting distracted by domestic Israeli political scandals.

It is my opinion, though I have no way of proving this, that both cases apply here. Despite what the memes may have you believe, Israeli intelligence are not a bunch of super spies, and while they are extremely well equipped and have a history of running some of the best agents in intelligence history. Their actual information processing procedures, IE. the actual important shit where you generate actual intelligence, have historically been very amateurish when compared to European and North American services.

As for the caches, there is every possibility that they don't actually know for certain where they are, and are just making educated guesses on where they might be based on how they know Hamas like to operate. Besides I doubt any IDF officers will be losing any sleep over civilian casualties caused by misidentifying a target given what's happened.

Someone knowledgeable please explain something. So as we know, prevailing belief is that the terror attacks were a surprise to Israel. That implies that Israel lacks Hamas intel. Yet the IDF is conducting targeted strikes on places in Gaza now. So how is it that Israel would lack crucial information about a planned attack but then be able to identify weapons caches and other military targets in such a brief window since the war started?
If you're only bombing weapons caches, then everywhere your bombs land is a weapons cache. easy peasy
