An arrest warrant was put out for a suspect in last week's murder of the Philadelphia LGBTQIAP+ journo and it's about as unsurprising a story as you'd expect.


"The suspect has been identified as 19-year-old Robert Edmond Davis. He is wanted for murder and related offenses."

The 39-year-old Kruger evidently had extensive texts with the homeless 19-year-old and was just "trying to help him get through life". lol sure


Drugs were of course present at the scene.


Even redditors at the very progressive r/philadelphia can see how bad the optics of a 40 year old LGBTQIAP+ man having a relationship with a 19-year-old.

Needless to say the post showing the murderer was a 19-year-old black homeless guy who had a relationship with the 40 year old gay journo didn't get as much attention as the original story when the sub thought it was a nahtzee.

From all the true crime stuff I’ve seen the first person I would not want to be in a room with is a Canadian interrogator. Their rules are similar to US with one caveat. After you contact your lawyer they are still allowed to question you with some limitations: they can’t bribe you, or threaten you (silence will result in a greater punishment, I will punch you etc…) and from what I’ve seen they use these rules to the greatest of their abilities. Someone like JF would give hours of content to a detective to be used later at his trial, because they will know how to get him talking.

You can try it yourself if anybody you interact with doesn't use them at all or rarely, just start doing it as a pattern of speech and people will pick it up. I dunno why.

They’re applicable filler words. You can do the same thing with as basal noises as “um” or “uh”. It also works with “y’all,” “yeah,” and the hang-loose hand sign.

Company Reaffirms Third Quarter 2023 Guidance

James M. Whitehurst has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer, President and a member of the Board. Roelof Botha, Lead Independent Director of the Unity Board, has been appointed Chairman. Mr. Riccitiello will continue to advise Unity to ensure a smooth transition.

The Board will initiate a comprehensive search process, with the assistance of a leading executive search firm, to identify a permanent CEO.

Mr. Whitehurst is a seasoned technology and public company executive.
