2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

With all the hypothesizing we've seen since the end of the Cold War regarding "how will World War III begin?" scenarios, this seems like a strong contender in terms of likelihood. I'm in favor of whatever solution sees the fewest people dead over the course of the next 20 years. That being said, I'll be rolling joints to distribute to all draft-eligible males within a 5 mile radius to help them piss hot if and when conscription starts up.
I just don't see any of the major powers coming to aid the Palestinian side. Nobody benefits from it vs. doing nothing or continuing their support for Israel.

India and China don't benefit from getting involved, they already have trade and oil import deals with ME nations and decent relations because they don't get involved in the area. Russia would also benefit massively from war in other oil-producing countries and doesn't really have the ability to project power to defend Iran, let alone Palestine. I think they'd gladly throw Iran under the bus if it got them a favorable peace in Ukraine.

I may be wrong, but didn’t Ukraine send Palestine and Hamas weapons? Definitely some classic projection from Zelenskyy.

Plus i could not see support from india in helping muslims

Scottish First Ministers family stuck in Gaza.

How does a Palestinian become first minister of Scotland? Fuck if I know

Thank the stupidity of the Scottish National Party. Yousaf's parents are from Pakistan so he isn't from the region himself, but his current wife is of Palestinian descent.

Why would Ukrainians give terrorists weapons while already fighting a war, this just feels like cope. Russia has a reason for opening another front for the west.
What do you mean "give"? You mean "sell"?

Ukraine may be at war but random generals and colonels in charge of arms distribution may not necessarily be at war, and have a definite reason to stuff some dollars into their mattress to buy a villa in Europe as soon as possible

Now that HAMAS indirectly proved, China was smart for investing millions in modern attack gyrocopters. What will the long term effects of Israeli Pearl Harbor be on future wars and guerrilla warfare? Now every YouTube military analyst channel looks like idiots for making fun of Chinese military gyrocopters. I can see African warlords and Mexican drug cartels adopting gyrocopters. Now we know any invasion of Taiwan will use gyrocopters. Far as I know, NATO and Russia are not investing in gyrocopters. How will the US military adapt to gyrocopters after HAMAS proves the best way to get past air defenses?
Dude that is not a gyrocopter lmfao :story:
I thought the Muslim population of Spain was low?
Spain has their first commie government right now since the republic

What's the alternative? Hamas uses schools, mosques and residential buildings as military storage, command and staging grounds. They do this with the full intention of getting Palestinian civilians killed, so they can parade around videos of dead children. And the majority of the people of Palestine support Hamas. I have no sympathy at all for Israeli settlement policies, these inbred retards are no better than the feral dogs they feud with; Palestinians managed to build an outstandingly despicable political movement that makes it impossible for me to sympathize with their plight.
Who starts a military operation with the goal of slaughtering as many civilians as possible? And then they bitch and moan when the military infrastructure they use and deliberately put behind human shields is hit in return.
It's an intractable situation and both sides did bad things in the past and continue to do bad things. I don't understand people who have so much antipathy for Israel. They're arguably better than the people they fight; at least their goal isn't wholesale genocide.
When the US has bombed weddings or random kids we usually say that the US fucked up and committed some atrocities.

With Palestinians getting bombed the response from Israel is to treat it as just how it is.

Feel like there should be some kind of middle ground where maybe Israel tries taking out their enemy while minimizing the amount of child killing.

Hot take: all of these atrocities have occurred since the beginning of time (and multiple times during your lifetime) but you Zoomers are so fucking historically illiterate that you think it's just starting today. It only feels more common now because social media more readily brings it to light. Fuck off.

"People aren't less competent now, ZOOMIE!"

Lol.

Apparently much Western arms were sold out the back door by the totally honest and not corrupt Ukrainian military command.

Also as far as I can tell Ukraine has no ties to Palestine meanwhile Russian ally Iran has plenty.
Russia and Israel are pretty strong allies. Try again.

US war materiel is going to show up in every middle eastern conflict for the next 50 years thanks to Afghanistan alone.

It would not surprise me if Ukrainian aide is arming Hamas right now, but the more likely explanation is the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.

The Taliban doesn’t even need to be directly involved, it’s just as likely the arms showed up on regional black markets.
