2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Calling it now:

Iran declares war on Israel. Afghanistan invades Iran. Saudi Arabia and Egypt sign a security pact. Turkey forms a black sea coalition. United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ukraine, Afghanistan: all now bff's. Man-Love Thursday spreads like wildfire across NATO members and NATO member's members. Russia Iran, and North Korea issue a joint statement condemning the US supplying Afghanistan with a fleet of commercial airliners for their jihadikaze squad. China Invades Vietnam. Taiwan invades Manchuria, Iran nukes Afghanistan. Israel nukes Iran. President (Chelsea) Clinton nukes Israel. Egypt forces all of the remaining Israelis and Palestinians out of the middle east and they wander for 40 years until they come across the war-torn land of Russia and Ukraine, establishing New Israel and New Palestine respectively, ushering in 1,000 years of peace between these people. The Taliban undergoes a series of Imperial restorations to establish a booming post-war economy with an increasingly-popular animation industry. Afghanistan culture takes the world by storm. 72 Virgins attend a convention cosplaying as their favorite Afghani waifu.
Sounds like something Tom Clancy came up with on peyote.
I like it.
You should write it as a novel.
Total Retard War.

I don't think the IDF is in yet.
I don't see why they should do urban warfare when they can just flatten the entire place.
Why risk a single life on your side if you don't have to?

The EU can't do squat to stop it, they're out of ammo.
The US won't.
The Russians can't.
The Chinese can't.

Because this keeps getting brought up, for example in german media there is a mandatory oath of loyalty to israel and the jews, otherwise you will be fired.
I'd assume it's similar in france and the uk with the media being owned by jews, large jewish investors or zionists (Murdoch).

So i'm not sure about how someone could think that the media is pro-Palestine?
There is barely any difference between left and right wing outlets, since both of them are owned by the same companies/people.
It's like pokemon red and blue.

You underestimate left wing governments and how they’ll do anything for good PR. Or how intoxicating “the right side of history” is. You’re more likely to see gangs of right wingers storm a pro Palestine rally because nobody in government will bother to put Hamas supporters on a watchlist, let alone send out orders to deport people who present a danger to the state.

And in Germany, Nazi Guilt is real.

/pol/tards hating De Joos.
Leftards running the regular "the oppressed rising up" narrative.
Muzzies supporting fellow savages.
...and probably just a bunch of usual retards enjoying the violence.
Correct.

Correct.

Correct.

I think the levels of violence being seen are testing how much people enjoy seeing wanton destruction and mayhem. Not everyone has a heart of ice and stone.

Exactly.
It is incumbent upon the powerful to crush their enemies.
Thermobaric the entire gaza strip.
I guarantee after a response like that nobody will launch a single rocket into Israel again.
Sorry the best your going to get is Israel bombing a bunch of apartment buildings and then the rest of the 2million residents of the gaza strip being shipped to Europe, Canada, and the USA.

NOT A HECKING DOGGERINO!?!?!!? Amazing how many people are reddit brained here and can see hours of dying women and young men and not feel something till a dog is killed in a warzone.
You can "thank" all the copeposting on social media from people about how "they should have known better than to visit a country like Israel" or how "something something stolen land something something".
But when you have people walking up to a house, shooting a dog (who has no understanding of what's going on), raid the home for not what they need but what they want, and then burn it down so on one else can have it?
It's a lot harder to make cope posts.

I was calling Iranian involvement from the get go. Now that their bluff has been called they're trying to do take backsies.
It could be interesting to see how the Iranian people would react to this, with the current Iranian regime hit by protests and strikes.

The site is being brokedickfarms but there is now an interview with the girl who found out her grandma was killed because of Hamas using the grandmas phone to make a video of killing her and posting it to her page. Hamas really fucked up any larger western sympathy points.

Nobody asked the jews to move to the middle of the desert and start mutual antagonism with arabs, hell they went at great pains to ask/bribe the british to allow them the privelege. They decided they had enough of being kicked out for no reason all over the place and decided to do the kicking, complete with the moral sanctimoniousness, dehumanization, and general lack of tact that entails. They have understandable reasons for this, if you share their particularist worldview and morays, but at the end of the day they chose israel over siberia, islands, or anywhere else.

There's a lot of context denial going on here. Palestinians didn't all wake up one morning and decide to become terrorists. And its not like the gaza strip just happened overnight either, palestinians didn't decide to clump up in 3rd world conditions at extreme population density. And they sure as hell didn't make the modern israeli state all but explicit in its goal to completely replace/wipe/remove them. It's not like modern israeli's have much choice either, jews are too paranoid to give up a chance at a state, but they're born into a strategically disadvantaged spot surrounded by people their parent's either started or contributed to blood feuds with. And its not like they're peachy demographically, either.

(EDIT: I don't think people get my point here, modern israeli's and palestinians have essentially inherited a bunch of shitty mistakes from their parents that put them in no-win scenarios. To show any weakness is to lose immeasurably. I certainly find the jew's less sympathetic given what they've done in my country, but that's also not the fault of a random israeli child, civilian, or otherwise).

That said, if you decide on dehumanizing palestinians, keep in mind this makes the jews worse. An animal acts on instincts, a troglodyte pokes an alligator till it blows his hand off. Sure, he can shoot it, but the decision to jump in the gator pond was his. I think palestinians are human, and that this conflict arises from an intractable series of atrocity escalations of murky origin. Both sides have chosen retarded degrees of escalation, both sides have committed unspeakable atrocities upon one another, and the only real endpoint is one side wiping the other out. I have my preference based on which outcome, but the morality of it either way is the same, unspeakable atrocities, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and immeasurable horror, especially to children.

I will also say I always hate when these conflicts spring up b/c I will inevitably get hit with an image of a mutilated or dead child. (I know I'm baiting the inevitable >human shield comments, you try mounting a guerilla movement through somewhere with that population density and see where you end up, its a tragic inevitability of the circumstances that civilians are caught in the crossfire).

Stop blaming Israel/Jews for our shortcomings. How about we start saying "NO"? But yeah of course we're all enthralled by the evil zionist voodoo.
OH come on, you can't even bring jewish influence up without risking your job or jail time in most if not all western countries. Don't pretend this conversation is something it isn't.

Israel has declared the entire area a military exclusion zone and under formal siege. This actually has specific utility in International law. Basically, nothing can get in, and the entire theater is a combat space. In application Israel needs to also issue a formal surrender demand. Which will of course not be accepted. They also need to permit the civilians under siege to leave, and for basic survival material of food and water to enter.

That last part is going to be intensely sticky because its almost certainly not going to happen, much like how Hamas will also not accept any demand to surrender without a fight. I expect the first step will be to secure fortified enclaves within the Siege zone. After that, food and water will be provided to civilians there, after appropriate groveling, and thorough vetting. This would meet the minimum requirements under international law to make whatever is now going down not a war crime. They could also go full irony and set up concentration camps in the area immediately around Gaza that has now been evacuated. Won't hold my breath for that though. A Concentration Camp did not actually mean a extermination camp until after World War 2. It was a form of POW camp for displaced civilians in a combat theater. We call em Refugee Camps now.

Lets be real. Both sides in this dispensed with notions of warfare within the bounds of international law almost immediately.

Not sure if posted, but there's a leaked CBC email telling their journalists to not call Hamas a terror organisation. As a reminder, CBC is funded by the Liberal government of Canada and in the pocket book of Trudeau.

The Gaza strip: Gaza is OK to use as a clipped form even in first reference. Please do not describe 2005 as “the end of the occupation” as Israel has maintained control over airspace, seafront and virtually all movement into or out of the area. Our description should be fact-based, referring to the end of permanent Israeli military presence on the ground.

Do not refer to militants, soldiers, or anyone else as “terrorists.” The notion of terrorism remains heavily politicized and is part of the story. Even when quoting/clipping a government or a source referring to fighters as “terrorists,” we should add context to ensure the audience understands this is opinion, not fact. That includes statements from the Canadian government and Canadian politicians.”
