Multiple flights into and out of Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport were listed as delayed on its website on October 9, after a rocket was reported to have landed close by. The airport said it would continue operating, however.

All the aid going to Gaza goes through Israel, the Egypt-Gaza border crossing has only allowed medicine through a handful of times. Its mainly for people going back and forth, and Egypt shut it down when this current conflict started. So why would Israel blow up non-existent aid from Egypt, and why would Egypt fight over that which does not exist right now.

I think you are seeing Muslims as a monolith. There are plenty of Egyptians that fucking hate the Palestinians.

Israel isn't worried about Egypt taking pot shots. What can they do, invade? Israel has nukes.

I love this new brand of opsec -- that is, announcing to the world where your intelligence apparatus is operating, what specific things to shoot at, and how long it'll be there.

Then again, the only legitimate reason I can think of for a military spy plane to leave its CIVILIAN TRANSPONDER enabled is that it wants people to know it's there.

Sorry I'm late to this thread - Just wanted to note one thing for the record:
I regularly browse /pol/ and during the initial skirmishes and for a period of about 36-48 hours following this, the board was considerably different to normal. That is, far less off topic slide threads, far less porn spam, and posts mentioning "bbc" (Big black cock) were almost non existent.
From this observation I conclude that Mossad or the IDF have departments of tech nerds who spam the forum in an attempt to derail discussions. After the initial attack, these guys were placed on alert and only returned to their regular day jobs after some time had passed. There is very little that will convince me I am wrong on this, it lined up too perfectly and the evidence was overwhelming.

That's probably part of the reason there's a US carrier battle group in the area.
