Every one is giving Trevor a lot of credit for a lot of ideas. Shit or not.
None of the things that killed AH originated from people you see on camera. Around the time ray left and trevor came in near the bell curve of popularity and problems is where the entire business was sold and taken over by a larger not on camera body that did all those annoying things not just at RT but around the web. Fullscreen excited all the dumb ideas via people in power that you see on screen.
If you watch every video in chronological order you can pick up on some of these things.
Gavin does not need a RT paycheck, I'm not even sure if he gets one. There is a small brief moment where he shit talks Fullscreen as one of the worst things to happen to a company, in which Jack follows up with "You know they own us now right?". Gavin doesn't know who his bosses are or he is meant to report to because he doesn't. They need him and he doesn't do any normal employee required tasks the others are now weighted down with. Gavin thinks AH is just people jerking off on camera and in control. Jermey joined at the coperate point and has KPI's, employee survays, has to go to meetings. People tell him what he needs to be, how he should act, buzz words he has to use. I bet they try to make Gavin do these things, but he never reads his email and just ignores people and leaves the room and never thinks twice.
You see this in a pod cast where Jeremy is losing his shit at Gavin for trying to sabotage a video. Gavin thinks the video isn't going to be funny or true to AH content and wanted to stop and trolled the shit out of every one the entire time because he doesn't under stand why they wont stop. The rest of the staff wont stop because they don't have a choice. They are now under Fullscreen or WB at this point and some one with hire fire powers sets what they record and what they make in a day. They have to make the video, its no less of a task or a job than a person building a fence or serving customers at a counter. You can -not- do your job if you don't want to keep your job, but ultimately you have no choice. The entire argument is Gavin not understanding people need money and their jobs are controlled by a management system and Jeremy unable to spell it out on camera that working at AH is now like working at a fast food joint and if he wants to be able to eat that week he has to do what hes told to do even if his enjoyment is not genuine.
If you watch and pay attention and look between the lines through out their entire content you can pick this up.
Trevor sucks, but hes no master mind, hes just some idiot who belived in the stupid shit his higher powers pushed on him and burnt the house down with a smile.
I know you all hate Jack but you can see the same thing in him but he hates it. He didnt buy into the dream but Geoff is gone, the man has been destroyed and will not be there to protect him. Jack looks like a mascot at a sports game. Does all the happy dances, has a stupid foam head with a stupid smile thats fake. He knows hes a sell out and I can see it in his face.
Post all this, people shit on Jeramy for having panic attacks as he lives out side of AH and mental health problems. Having experianced working at a place that gas lights you and trys to break you as a person, I'll put good money on that people of "power" continue to make threats and attempt to interfear with his carrer as a streamer. He is a real person and he knows the value of money and if some assholes who know other assholes who love to fuck with little people was threating to take away my money, I'd freak out.
