2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

What did Italy mean by this?!

"The arch contains panels depicting the triumphal procession celebrated in AD 71 after the Roman victory culminating in the fall of Jerusalem".

Yeah, because we all know how well Jews and Romans got along right?

Hamas may have lacked strategy but the Iranians, who are doubtlessly behind this attack, do have an overarching strategy. They want to bleed the Israelis, sure, but more importantly they want Gaza reduced to a smoldering charnel house, with Israeli soldiers captured on-camera tromping over dead Palestinian civilians, the bloodier the better. The propaganda value is incalculable.
So it's equivalent of "to the last Ukrainian" meme but instead its the last Palestinian (well in Gaza anyway)?

God I'm really getting sick and tired of people thinking everything is some 4D big brain carefully orchestrated scheme. Sometimes, crap happens.
There have always been dumb people believing conspiracy theories, but people today are dumber than ever and it's so easy to find communities of idiots online to keep your conspiracy theories going. People, especially dumb people, love to feel like they're "in the know" and smarter than everyone else. They're the only ones who are smart enough to see that the earth is flat, emergency alert tests will kill people, Trump actually won, JFK Jr is still alive, Bed Bath and Beyond isn't really bankrupt, and so on.

the crying about wp after they launched a surprise raid of genghis khan style rape-and-pillagery made me actually laugh out loud when i read it. what a joke. this whole mess is a fucking disaster for the children and pets caught up in it, those are the only people i have any more sympathy for.
No shit. They pose as cops to kill panicked civilians looking for help, murder toddlers, mass rape and kill anything with a vagina and burn down houses after killing family pets and then cry about muh illegal willy pete.

Interesting brochures were found on the bodies of dead Hamas terrorists.

Seems to be a guide on how to deal with different kinds of Israeli armored vehicles.

it goes like this:
everything is the will of allah.
as a good muslim your duty is to faithfully go into battle against the infidel no matter the odds. if it is allahs will that you die, a glorious martyrs afterlife awaits you. if it allahs will that you win, glory awaits you in this life and the next.
no matter the outcome, allah is the greatest.
That dose make you think that being a corpse for a Muslim is seen as better than being alive.

Only dumb people use strawmans to make a point.

Always reminds me of this scene:

Then I remember that Saladin was Kurdish if I recall correctly and not an Arab. Kinda like the French, the Arabs are dangerous when tard wrangled by non-Arabs, when left to their own, well...

You know, maybe this is me reading too much into something, but I've been recently going through the pro-Hamas/Gaza side and there's something I'm noticing.

I remember back in the good old days of /pol/, especially around 2014-2016ish, seeing the slew of Islamic terror attacks across Europe following the big wave of Muslim refugees that arrived. Every time there was an attack, lefties and Muslim profiles on Twitter, Tumblr, and every social media always launched into their "Not all Muslims" or "This is not what our religion is like" narratives. Every single time.

Now? All I can see from the very same people is some variation of "Yes, Hamas did kill women and children, and this is why it's a good thing!" I don't know if suddenly the mask is of or they lost some important PR people, but there's been a shift in narrative. Makes me wonder what will happen when the next terror attack hits Europe.
