So, at $25.4 million opening ($43.4 million worldwide) lets crunch the numbers and see how hard Warner Bros Discovery fucked up this time.

- The International ticket sales are 41.5% instead of The Flash's 61%, likely because of all the promotion was towards the Latinx/Latino community within the United States rather than towards a general audience. The Latinx/Latino community isn't as prevalent outside of the Americas.
- Assuming a 3x multiplier, the total domestic ticket sales will be $76.2 million, with $54.06 million internationally for a total of $130.26 million worldwide
- The Studio will get $65.13 million revenue, against a $220 million budget + marketing cost, resulting in a loss of $154.87 million. A Batgirl-style cancellation would have lost less money ($34.87 million saved)
- WBD could have bought 12,905,980 homeless people food for a day (assuming its $12 each) with the money they lost on this film.

Also I think its worth asking about this thread. Should we continue discussing the DCEU/DCU and Capeshit films here, or leave it until Ezra inevitably fucks up again? Looking at it in perspective, the damage has pretty much solidified - DC films were on a downward spiral after Justice League, and Ezra Miller's adventures in Bad CGI effectively killed off any remaining prestige or hype they once had.

i think this movie was meant to be Ezras redemption or a proof of his talent despite his actions
i will admit, after this thread and all the criticism of it i tried to watch a copy of it when a good one popped up, but its not even the capeshit that bothered me, it was all the shit with time travel and multiverses again, just fucking drop it ALL, but drop that first!!!!
the script was absolutely dogshit which IMO is the most unforgiveable of sins
do you remember hearing the director say that this movie will make you all love Ezra again or something to that effect?

I can imagine him appearing again during awards season next spring. I doubt The Flash will win any awards (except for Golden Raspberry Awards), and its likely WBD will keep him away from the Oscars to prevent him throwing chairs at the presenters on stage (or breaking into the back room to steal alcohol). But he'll make some media appearance anyway.

I even doubt that the Razzies would even let The Flash win, though I could be proven wrong otherwise. The Razzies is a shitty award organization as beloved by intellectual redditfags that, much like any other award organization, will cherry-pick than think critically.

On a tangential note, Halle Berry accepted her Worst Actress Razzie for Catwoman in person, and delivered an ironic enthusiastic thank you speech. It was very cool, actually.

Ezra wouldn't work in the same scenario because he's a criminal and a sex pest who went on an international rampage that was blatantly covered up and swept aside, so celebrating him in any way seems in poor taste (even if no one says it out loud).

He's just another one of Hollywood's "projects" that got shut down due to becoming box office poison and a public hate figure. Same as the likes of Brie Larson or that chick and the nigger from Star Wars.

But I doubt that they'll do the same at the Razzies. They've even nominated Joker for a special category for "Worst Reckless Disregard for Human Life and Public Property." I'm not kidding, they peak Reddit shit

He shouldn't get a Razzie, he was more miscast than outright bad or one of the worst performances of the year and secondly, I think he would enjoy that attention.

Ezra being memory-holed in terms of celebrity would be the best thing, just a trivia question at best.

That's because she's a classy lady. And while the fault was really of the writers, she was willing to take it on the chin. She wasn't a bad actress, she was just cast in a shit role written by idiots. She would have been an entirely good Catwoman in a less shitty movie.

Well yes, she is seen as a very well aware individual. She is a great actress who felt nothing but regret after she signed up to be in a movie that she hoped it was a Catwoman movie with good writing and, at the very least, be part of the Batman lore.
