2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

No, see, I get it. I get it intellectually, but I don't get it emotionally or spiritually. That's why I put my autism in a spoiler.
I want to understand what it feels like to give a shit about that land in particular. What's happening internally? What does it feel like? Is it like if someone were to threaten your own family? More intense than that?
Well, we in the West have been stripped of such identity over the last 50 years. Globalism has stolen alot of pride that was once reserved for nationality, or faith, or family. Just imagine you are told from the day you are born that this stinking patch of soil is your BIRTHRIGHT, and the lineage that guarantees you that privilege stretches back before written language was a thing. It's not just land, its HOLY, set apart, destined by God for the Chosen to possess (and every side says they are the Chosen). Its not a big deal to die for it, because God (whichever version) will reward you for protecting what He bestowed upon your people.

A mystifying update on Brazilian hostages:

The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims to be unaware of whether there are Brazilians held hostage by Hamas. It was an Israeli spokesperson who stated that there are three Brazilians among the hostages. So far, no representative of the Islamic group has reported any position regarding the nationality of any hostage.

So literally no one has any idea.

Can someone answer a question I've had since I was a kid?
Is it really just the religious thing + colonization?
The land sucks, doesn't it? Maybe a couple thousand years ago it was fertile, right, but it sucks now. It's just a shitty desert. Yes, I understand the history and geopolitics of it all, but I always feel like there's some extra element on like a spiritual or emotional level that I'm missing or just incapable of seeing.

at the core it's jewish nationalism vs. arab nationalism
jews claim the land based on being its original and rightful owners from biblical times
arabs claim the land based on right of conquest since muhammad caliph umar took it from the christians
two nations with conflicting territorial claims = war

"War" is what I've thought it was my whole life. I just didn't know if I was missing some else spiritual/magical/whatever that was unique to the physical land itself.

Part of seeming like the good guys is making the bad guys seem really really bad. I have no doubt Hamas is capable of utter brutality but I also have no doubt that it's probably being spun at least to some extent to give Israel a license to make the people of Gaza suffer more than they already do.

Water plays a major role too. Israel currently administers the Palestinian's water rights. Meaning they are allowed to draw virtually nothing from the aquifers and rivers. My understanding is the Palestinians have to pay for bottled water to be trucked in.

Imagine working for illegal settlers for shit wages and then having to buy water from the at a huge markup.

It already is being spun, look at how they telephoned "we found some dead infants" into "40 DECAPITATED TODDLERS AND THEY EVEN SHOT ALL THE DOGS" or the comedy this morning with them treating geese as Hezbollah launched drones and making the entire north end run for cover

They are already dead. Don't believe there has been any evidence that any of them are still alive either after Israel refused to negotiate and started glassing Gaza. To retrieve the hostages that may or may not be alive that may possibly be American. You will need to do a full ground invasion, killing how many more Americans in pure urban warfare hell that will go on for months to retrieve dead bodies.
I've said it before but imo we should not assume they are dead, we need to either rescue them or know they are dead even if it means we kill them ourselves. People default to saving the lives of the hostages as the most important thing here, but the most important thing here is not leaving them with Hamas. There are far worse things than death out there and I have no doubt that Hamas is visiting them upon any hostages that remain alive.

Jew King addresses his people, unity government formed, and Total Hamas Death is a go.

I'm disappointed he didn't call them Canaanites and announce we are going Joshua on their asses. You thought the Ark of the Covenant was in Ethiopia or some shit? :story: wait until we open that bitch up in the middle of Gaza City. Old Testament style mah Kosher niggas

emotional level
I think the emotional level has escalated into something much more, that goes beyond the land aspect due to the propaganda on both sides. Palestinian kids are taught at a young age that Jewish people are evil and are out to get them. Nexpo made a video about a Palestinian kids show called Pioneer's of Tomorrow that demonized Jews, and glorified violence against them, highlighting all the fucked up things Israel forces had done or were doing at the time.

it's their ancestral homeland, that's what is unique about it
the jews spent almost two thousand years in exile, scattered around the world, and one of the main things that kept their identity as a nation alive was the never ending hope that one day they would return to the land of zion
it's hard to understate just how big of a deal this land in particular is for them

I've been seeing the fucking mainstream news guys acting like the recent HAMAS stuff is "the worst thing since the holocaust". Not in a "oh it's been a long time since a warcrime against jews" thing but instead acting as if terrorist actions are somehow the same level of several allied countries governments rounding up thousands of their own fucking citizens for extermination based on nebulous shit like religion or possible genetic history. The spin is in full fucking effect and it genuinely disgusts me.

Never forget the tumbleweed that triggered every warning signal in Israel.

It's just good old fashion ethnic warfare. I don't like you, you don't like me, lets kill each other for most of recorded history. It's only really exasperated because one side is half feral but has clean water and groceries, while the other side has rabies and fights itself to figure out who hates the jews the most. There's a reason literally nobody likes Palestinians except dumbasses who don't live next to them, they're stupidly retarded with a state death cult that keeps getting voted in.

Unfortunately the land of milk and honey looks more like the surface of the moon in reality.
