So the new narrative is that Chic is actually alive, and she was brought to a hospital in Gaza of all places.

Sure, like I really believe that. That doesn't change the fact that there was clearly a corpse in the back of that pickup truck, stripped naked with limbs broken, so it was just somebody else they raped, bludgeoned and shot.

Muslims are just barbarians, no exceptions, full stop. There is no rehabilitating them or their image.

Plenty jews support israel and detest its government. If israel falls into the hands of islam, its not going to be because of their military mite, but the government of israel turning the world against it. They cant change the mind of anti semites, but they can certainly create more of them.
i dont know man, ive seen enough turbo leftist jews whose "support israel, just not its government and policies" talk was just a thin facade, when you push them and their positions to the logical conclusion it always ends up somewhere around "all palestinians should get full israeli citizenship and voting rights" which in practice basically means they want the jews in israel to willingly capitulate and surrender and put their lives in the hands of people whose attitude towards jews is comparable to that of himmler lol

The EU has decided that now is the time to make sure that people don't see anything that might be illegal so they have sent letters to at least META and X/twitter. My favorite line is at the end where they say they will make sure to "include any answer in our assessment file on your compliance with the DSA"
Wouldn't want any citizens to accidently see some atrocities, but I am sure it is going to be used for both sides equally.
One step closer to fragmented networks on various internets.

The EU really needs to sit down and just shut the fuck up. It is so easy to see why the UK stood up, flipped the table, said "Eat shit, guvnah", gave everyone in the room the bird, and walked away.

I'm surprised that the IDF or Israeli media wasn't reporting it as a success
You can't think of any reason why the Israeli's wouldn't want this portrayed?
Bernie is a self hating jew, this is pretty much par for the course.
Self hating jew seems to read as jew who took his tribesmen at their word about the supposed universal moral implications of the shoah.

I just realized Israeli youth sure have a lot of money to blow on travelling around the world going to trance raves.

From the instagram of the rave company that was near Gaza. August 15th.

It's not that difficult to travel internationally for festivals even if you're poor. I used to go to other countries for festivals when I was a young kid making $15 an hour. Especially with social media where its easy to find people going that you can couch surf with.

just opened my eyes about the contrast between the Jordan River Valley and the surrounding desert, so maybe it's just that.
It's also worth noting that the Jordan River used to look like this:
Jordan_River_postcard_-_1925.jpgJordan_River_-_Kibbutz_Beit_Zera_-_40s_or_50s.jpg
but from the 50s onwards basically Israel damed the Sea of Galilee (Lake Tiberias) and diverted a bunch of water, and Jordan diverted a whole bunch of water from a main tributary while damming others:
galilee.png2-Figure1-1.png
and now the river Jordan looks like this
58061130100892640360no.jpg
as it has under 10% of its original flow in it (and consequently the Dead Sea is drying up).

The Israeli irrigation project was so successful they have surplus water (which was the intention - hence why the kibbutzim were lauded as "turning the desert green"), while Jordan doesn't really have enough from those tributaries at all... and obviously the West Bank, which could have relied on the River Jordan, doesn't have much either. Gaza meanwhile struggles with population density, since it's a population of 2 million people squeezed into an area about 2/5ths the size of Kansas City or 4/5ths the size of Greater Manchester, and then there's all the normal issues with groundwater depletion and saltwater incursion.

This is why Palestinians are so reliant on Israel for water and also another reason why they resent the Israelis. Although the Israelis would point out they did what they did after the Arabs tried to divert the headwaters of the river Jordan to stop the Israelis using it first, although the Arabs would say that they only tried to do that because...(etc etc)

Apparently bernie sanders of all people is going off about how what israel is doing in response to the attack is illegal

Awkward moment for the US, especially consdering sanders is a jew
Tankies hate Israel. In addition to being a holdover of the Soviet Union inciting Arab nationalism, they associate Israel with their Bible-banger parents, and naturally go "I'm gonna let Abdul deflower my asshole with a scimitar because Fuck You Dad."

I think him, as well as most of Israel right now, are well past caring about any degree of self-own. I can't even begin to imagine the sheer degree of brutality and hatred we will see when the ground operation begins.
I think they’re going to try anything to justify slaughtering all the Palestinians if they can.

I posted a video here were reporters were talking to Palestinian militants and they said that they were meeting other groups to plan a war.

THEY TOLD REPORTERS THAT THEY WERE PLANING A WAR.

The video is 11 months old. Israel had at least 11 months to prepare and investigate wtf is going on in Gaza and according to the video they were aware that something was going on. But for some reason they didn't do enough and even rejected Egypt's warnings. And now over 1000 people are dead.
Problem is the Palestinians were always planning a war. It's sorta their thing to be want war against those Jews they feel were stealing their land.

It's usually fairly small stuff though like firing off their potato rockets or whatever, which the Iron Dome could take out rather than trying to paraglide in and behead some concert goers.

Which was stupid in its own way since every nation should've learned a bit from what's happened in Ukraine that even slow moving stuff like drones can upend our whole concept of what war looks like. Makes me wonder what would have happened had Israel given Iron Dome technology to Ukraine, since they may have gotten to learn of some flaws in the system if they'd tried handing it over ages ago.

I just can't understand how anyone running shit in Hamas thought this was a good idea.

Sure, you kill a few hundred Israelis and prove that you can get the drop on them but by killing women, children and a smorgasbord of people from various other countries you have basically given the international community an excuse to allow your enemies to wipe you off the map.

You have given justification to a military that is many times more powerful than you to use 100% of their force against you whilst completely alienating fence-sitters so that they won't care what happens to you.
