2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Besides the obvious "that happened", there's something about seeing office dwelling bugmen shamelessly gushing over military matters and just violence in general that really triggers my autismo rage.

I'm not even one of those speds that thinks civvies shouldn't have any say on war, but if you're going to be talking about how cool violence is you should at the very least have the upper body strength to be able keep a rifle on target.

To be fair the Hamastards probably have massive stockpiles for themselves that they wont be sharing with a single civilian.
I got curious about the water thing the other day and found out it's a routine thing for Palestinians to have cisterns on their roof for backup water supplies because of outages. It seemed particularly stupid to me because it meant it'd be easier for IDF drones to just drop a grenade on them to destroy their water supplies as a prank.

No, Hamas wants all the civilians in the city so they can get their martyrs death and parade their bodies in front of the journoscum crying "woe is us, whatever did we do to deserve such treatment?"
To touch on this, Israel has this practice that gets called a "roof tap". They do a light bomb on the roof to scare the shit out of those inside as a sort of warning shot so as to say "hey shitass get out of the building" before they actually level it. So people kinda have to choose to stay inside as it's not exactly a gentle warning.

Here's Al Jazeera providing an example of what it looks like.

Edit: Also I think they usually try texting people about their bombing

The massive number of civilian casualties you cite were those killed almost entirely by Sunni/Shia death squads, al-Qaeda, ISIS and the Taliban. The weasel phrase "killed by the US's post-9/11 wars" implies these victims were murdered by evil Americans when in fact it was mostly their own nextdoor neighboors.
Yeah had nothing to do with bombing their sewage, water desalination plants and their power stations.

This isn’t the medieval times and you’re going to wipe out an entire 2 million people to stop a very small percentage of people. This didn’t work in Afghanistan or Iraq and it won’t work for Israel.
welcome to war lol

if you expect your enemy to just abandon the fight and go home when you start hiding behind civilians, you (and the civilians you are hiding behind) are in for a rude awakening. this shit never works, no army can ever allow it to work, because allowing it to work would completely cripple your ability to wage war at all. it didn't stop the burgers in fallujah, it didn't stop the russians in grozny, it's not gonna stop the jews in gaza.

These are the kind of facts that seem to always get "lost" (along with working out of and hiding in schools and behind civilians as a tactic etc) in all the western leftist/progressive hysterics and muslim propaganda regurgitation. Especially in higher edu. Cancel culture like mentality and "safe spaces" have managed to totally lock in "gas the Israelis" and "the innocent muslim peace loving victim" type of opinions on campuses. And much like everything else resulting from this edu capture.. The results are going to be disastrous for us, our allies and (full stop) civilization.

As Students Face Retaliation for Israel Statement, A ‘Doxxing Truck’ Displaying Students’ Faces Comes to Harvard’s Campus

A billboard truck drove through the streets surrounding Harvard’s campus Wednesday, digitally displaying the names and faces of students allegedly affiliated with student groups that signed onto a controversial statement on Hamas’ attack on Israel.

Amid continued national backlash and doxxing attacks, at least eight of the original 34 co-signing Harvard student groups as of Wednesday afternoon withdrew their signatures from the statement — originally penned by the Harvard Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee — that called Israel “entirely responsible” for the violence. In a later statement, the PSC wrote that it “staunchly opposes” violence against all civilians.

By Tuesday evening, at least four online sites had listed the personal information of students linked to clubs that had signed onto the statement, including full names, class years, past employment, social media profiles, photos, and hometowns.

As of Wednesday morning, at least two of those sites had been taken down for violating Google’s terms of service.

On Wednesday, in the face of student safety concerns, some of the statement’s harshest critics denounced acts of violence or intimidation against the members of the statement’s signatories.

The responses followed the appearance of the billboard truck, which labeled the displayed Harvard students as “antisemites.” The display also referenced a website that listed multiple full names of students associated with organizations that had signed onto the PSC’s statement.

Harvard Hillel, the University’s Jewish center, released a statement Wednesday afternoon saying that it “strongly condemns any attempts to threaten and intimidate” members of co-signatory organizations.

“We will continue to reject the PSC’s statement in the strongest terms — and demand accountability for those who signed it,” the statement reads. “But under no circumstances should that accountability extend to public intimidation of individuals.”

“Such intimidation is counterproductive to the education that needs to take place on our campus at this difficult time,” it continues.

In a statement to The Crimson on Wednesday, the PSC called on University leadership to “immediately and unequivocally condemn the harassment and intimidation of its students.”

“The truck actively threatens students safety on campus at a time when credible death threats have already forced us to postpone a solidarity vigil acknowledging all civilian victims,” the statement reads.

“It is quite literally physical threat, a heinous intimidation technique, a warning sign meant to scare ideological allies into repudiating our mission — and for the Jewish members of associations linked to our own, an unjustifiable and insulting slap in the face,” it continues. “The doxxing truck is the ugliest culmination of a campaign to silence pro-Palestinian activism that the PSC has experienced for years.”

A Harvard spokesperson did not immediately provide comment on the doxxing or PSC’s criticism of the University’s response.

On Wednesday, a Harvard spokesperson wrote that the College has reached out directly to impacted students and student organizations to provide support and resources. In a Tuesday statement, College spokesperson Jonathan Palumbo confirmed that authorities had been alerted of doxxing on public websites.

In a post on X, former University President Lawrence H. Summers reaffirmed his disdain for the joint statement, but he called for the doxxing to stop.

“I yield to no one in my revulsion at the statement apparently made on behalf of 30 plus @Harvard student groups. But please everybody take a deep breath,” Summer wrote. “It is a time for absolute clarity that words or deeds that threaten the safety of others in our community will not be tolerated.”

Harvard Economics professor Jason Furman ’92 shared a similar statement on X, writing that he had been contacted by a student who had been doxxed despite no longer attending Harvard or affiliating with the co-signing group.

“I am reassured by the widespread condemnation of the statement by the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Group. But I am appalled by people threatening individual students. I’m even more appalled since many of them had nothing to do with the letter,” Furman wrote.

Most non-senile American Prime Minister
They admit to this shit after the fact for the intellectual types to be like "wow ok at least they admitted it was wrong" but the average retard just sees Biden say "they're beheading the heckin babies man! it's in the picture!" and gets pissed off. And they don't try to verify the claims because "why would I want to look at a dead baby." They get to push their bullshit while not seeming like complete liars.

Yeah fam we just destabilized the region and destroyed any semblance of functioning government, then flooded the region with weapons. They made the decision to descend into violent hellscape.
Nothing to do with us.

awww are the little pissbaby chuds upset because their actions have consequences?

Fuck these hypocrites. All the people on those billboards cheer when they get someone fired for a mean tweet.

apparently you arnt aware of the strain of English known as niggeronous americanous.

same. i grew up in a heavily republican area during the iraq war so i developed a strong disliking to republicans and a soft heart towards the left. these last 5-10 years has really made me question that and have way more disdain towards the left than the right. still dont like the average right winger and republicans, but god do i hate the modern left so much.

Glad I'm not the only one. I try to remember sometimes that twitter/reddit/internet (as a whole) is not an accurate representation of the real world, and that there's a lot of fake, troll bullshit out there.

As things currently stand, I dont think I'll ever consider myself a Republican (I hate religious zealots too much, and the GOP unfortunately bends over backwards for them).

I know this sounds cringe, but it's why Bush lowkey COULD have been a great president if 9/11 never happened. He didn't make social issues his entire personality like desantis does (and trump occasionally takes advantage of). He ran on infrastructure, corporate regulation reform, tax code revision, education reform, and mainly ran on building the economy (and competing with the rising east). Instead, we got two wars, and the patriot act thanks to angry Muslims. History repeats itself.

I really do think the GOP underestimates the country's desire for a candidate like that again, but unfortunately all political insight is now outsourced from circle jerking think tanks (that are more concerned with making money, than being accurate). It blows my mind that glowies in fucking foreighn nations are actively facilitating reactionary american party talking points. We are just too stupid, or too unwilling to break the cycle.

The archive seems broken so I went ahead and screenshotted everything current as of 10/11/23 :(

It's funny how far the belief in consequence culture goes for both higher edu and big tech... Very thunk provoking. It's only ok when the "right" people ruin futures over the "correct" causes.

This is a case of doing god's work. (both the site and posting it hear) These people are going to go out into the normal world without ever having to be challenged on this issue otherwise. Scary as fuck.
