2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

They have had several decades and tens of millions of dollars siphoned from humanitarian aid, I seriously doubt Israel has enough conventional arms to break the Gaza tunnel system with their entire conventional arms inventory. You'd probably need a subterranean nuke to collapse them all. And once that particular dog is unleashed, we're all in serious shit.
There's this wonderful invention called a "thermobaric warhead" or a "fuel-air explosive". Check it out sometime.

Instead, we got two wars, and the patriot act thanks to angry Muslims.
What kind of person will tell you he's hated, but never tell you why?

Ever actually read Osama's Letter to America? He said why he did 9/11 in clear language. It was America's many decades of military, financial, and political support for Israel. It was the thousands of innocent Muslims who were slaughtered and abused with American assistance. Read for yourself:

As for the first question: Why are we fighting and opposing you? The answer is very simple:

(1) Because you attacked us and continue to attack us.

a) You attacked us in Palestine:

(i) Palestine, which has sunk under military occupation for more than 80 years. The British handed over Palestine, with your help and your support, to the Jews, who have occupied it for more than 50 years; years overflowing with oppression, tyranny, crimes, killing, expulsion, destruction and devastation. The creation and continuation of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of its criminals. And of course there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased. Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its*price, and pay for it heavily.

Osama bin Laden was wrong to attack us, but right to oppose our alliance with Israel. The USA should not be involved in ancient desert blood feuds, period. Blaming one side for getting angry because we helped bomb their women and children is retarded, or a confession of double allegiance. When two retards fight, step away, don't get in the middle of it.

That comes from the Kabballah, btw. Satanists do use it though.

Also, I've never seen unironic accusations of people being paid shills on KF until this thread, BTW. Some people accused of being Israeli shills have 5+ year old sign up dates and thousands of posts. People are REALLY riled up about this happening.
Nearly all is just pure hatred of Sand Niggers.

As for me, I think that term is perfect to describe Mohamadians.

Just like the Niggers of North America, nothing is their fault. They are just a poor misunderstood group of suffering people. Just as with Niggers, the Western world will go to great lengths to cover for them and invent alternative histories:

As soon as America established independence, our very next international crisis was about Muslims in North Africa enslaving our sailors.

Who have they ever been friends to other than themselves, and why do you think we owe them shit?

The US spent tens of billions of dollars immediately rebuilding infrastructure destroyed in the 2003 Iraq invasion. Arab terror groups sabotaged it, looted it and blew it up when they weren't busy kidnapping and killing their neighbors.

Afghanistan had practically zero infrastructure to begin with. We gave the Afghans billions and attempted to build infrastructure ourselves; in exchange, our child-raping "allies" embezzled that money while Taliban fighters killed construction workers.

The US rebuilt Germany and Japan after WW2 with massive grants, direct aid, and some loans. It was a massive success. These countries who were once our blood enemies, reduced to rubble, are now industrial powerhouses and some of our closest allies. Turns out the same process couldn't work in the Middle East not because of malign American intentions, but because of how Arab and Afghan people are.

We shouldn't have lingered in Afghan or invaded Iraq, but you're still wrong on the basic facts and assignment of blame. If anything, our unwillingness to rule with an iron fist— after toppling despots who kept chaos at bay with just that— failed to establish order and caused vast unnecessary suffering.
Hate to mythbust again. But with the exception of about 5-6 years on the early 40's throughout the 19th and 20th centuries Japan was a US friend and ally, and the US's largest asian trading partner. Really the main split was caused by the Rape of Nanking. (Oh look. We've circled back around to beheaded babies)

They have not come to snuff the rooster yet
Hmmm..... If I was the Israeli government I would wait maybe a month before entering Gaza. I would drag this out long enough and allow as many foreign fighters to enter into Gaza as possible to join their hamas brothers before making the final assault so that I'll have most of my enemies from around the world in one single place so that I can wipe them all out.

There are plenty of Israelis who have had their brains blown onto the pavement you don't have to transparently focus in on the one female one who was found half dressed. It's nice of you to pretend to care about people you have never met dying but when the only one you ghouls can find to post is the young naked girl it's pretty obvious what you are here for.
You mean the one woman they dragged back to the Gaza strip and showed off as a war trophy? You do know that's the reason why she's the poster child of the massacre, right?

The only ghoul here is you, creep.

I know Israel is rumored to have them but there's more evidence they can field nukes than MOAB-equivalents. And even for an area as small as Gaza, for as intricate a tunnel system as Hamas has, some subsurface thermobarics might still not be enough.

This is the lineage of Foucault, where after Marxism failed to produce acceptable results, the goalposts were moved into abstraction, hostility to objectivity and preferring qualitative things over quantitative.

Yes there is a high incidence of Jews in academia. Just like there are in finance.

What I don’t understand is how everyone pretends conservative Jews don’t exist. Ayn Fucking Rand was Jewish

Typically the Westerners don't wave the flags of Ayn Rand.

And what did we get in exchange for helping New York landlords and Milwaukee teachers drop bombs on illiterate Arabs' babies?

The music is obnoxious and the editing is shit. Hamas wtf your propaganda game is slacking.
i believe this is done by Islamic Jihad which is a very similar but different group. apparently they dont live up to the standards of hamas when it comes to slick propaganda.

Can someone answer a question I've had since I was a kid?
Is it really just the religious thing + colonization?
The land sucks, doesn't it? Maybe a couple thousand years ago it was fertile, right, but it sucks now. It's just a shitty desert. Yes, I understand the history and geopolitics of it all, but I always feel like there's some extra element on like a spiritual or emotional level that I'm missing or just incapable of seeing. Some additional emotional connection in a way I've never experienced personally. Does it feel different to be there? Does the land itself hold any particular beauty in addition to its religious significance?
This is the fundamental problem:

Add these numbers up and you have about 7.1 million Jews and 10 million Palestinians (probably more if you count the diaspora, but the numbers can get dicey there). Here's what Israel wants: Jewish control over the critical land and infrastructure in this cute little corner of the Levant - control which cannot be challenged by other ethnic and religious groups. Okay, right of conquest, that's doable for a sort of totalitarian ethnostate. But there's a problem. Israel, absurdly, wants to larp as a democracy while exerting this control, when they are a distinct minority of the people inhabiting this land. Ignore for a minute that a bunch of the Palestinians had their homes and land stolen by Israelis and nurse a long grievance - this is obviously a non-starter for them. Combine the historical grievances with the fact that the Jewish minority - largely composed of foreign transplants - wants to rule over them with complete impunity. How do the Palestinians respond? They attack Israel. Israel responds by further clamping down on the Palestinians, restricting them to either a bizarre maze of cut-off towns with security checkpoints or a ghetto hellscape coastal city with no hinterlands or ability to support itself, to which Israel controls all essential flows of supplies.

Every attempt to crack down on the Palestinians fuels resentment, and every resentment-fuelled attack is another excuse to crack down. Nobody will address the fundamental problem - that you can't have a democratic Jewish state while the Palestinians exist. Israel has to isolate them so that they don't vote in Israeli elections, but they also have to neuter and control any Palestinian political movement. Why? Because at this point you have generations of people who have either grown up in a dystopian open air prison city (Hamas's Gaza) or one of the most laughably corrupt third world shit holes on the planet (Fatah's West Bank). If you live in the former, you are constantly being bombed, starved out, and surveilled. If you live in the latter, the land that was supposed to be yours is constantly being taken piecemeal and settled by the Jews, while you are herded into tinier, shittier little enclaves separated by security checkpoints. All the aid money is hoovered up by corrupt PLO bigwigs while you struggle to survive. Unsurprisingly, both of these environments breed waves of children who grow up with nothing to lose and a burning resentment towards Israel and Jews in general, as well as complete disillusion with their own political establishment - which is neutered and corrupt.

For the Jews, the desire to possess this land definitely has a deranged religious element to it. For the Palestinians, it's more resentment and rage. Yes, it's shitty land, but it's home to them, and they don't want to give it over to a bunch of scheming Jews. I think that most people naturally find the Palestinian motivation to be much more relatable and understandable, which is why Israel exerts such an effort to get their ridiculous propaganda circulating as widely and frequently as possible.

The MOAB is just a (big) conventional warhead and the F/A explosives are fairly low tech. I'm not sure on the military trivia of what people have . But there's absolutely no reason they wouldn't have one. Or borrow one.

Lol well immediately after the US signed treaties with a lot of the Barbary states and kept very close and friendly relations so surely the early leaders of the country must've thought something of their loyalty.

Atlas Shrugged is fucking tedious to read because she assumes the reader is a window licker who needs the point hammered home repeatedly.

We the Living is actually great, if you have the stomach for that Russian sense of drama. Aunt Galina dying of tuberculosis, coughing blood all over the family while crying “I want to live!!” reminded me of how fucking depressing Dostoevsky liked to be

Which is to say, once they realized that Americans were white, hence technologically superior

They became the focus of a lot of people because you had people outright denying she was dead or raped. It's happened with most of the stories that came out of Israel and it all looks kinda insane as they act as though it's unthinkable that some cousin fucking retards would do anything barbaric to women.

This basically is on the scale of the yum Kippur war
Do you even know anything about the Yom Kippur War?

These were the parties involved; two armies, each from Egypt and Syria, and forces from ten others.

This was the order of battle:

And these were the results

My friend's father was an Israeli tank commander who lost his arm in this war, and while she and her family are understandably upset and pissed off they are not calling for the genocide of the Palestinians because of Netanyahu's fuck up. The current clusterfuck is in no way comparable, you hyperbolic shill.
