2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Why are we focusing on these babies? Like even if they weren't decapitated they were killed.
We should be focusing on the unedited video AOC uploaded on her twitter of that brap instead of the fake dead babies - I totally agree.
One of them is 100% real and authentic and far more hilarious.
I'm just wondering what israel is waiting on. Hostages are dead, there's nothing stopping them, why have they not just bombed every square inch of the place.

It might break the Geneva Convention, but so what? Everyone does. Russia does, china does, we do.
Money, weapons, and trying to get other people's troops to do it for them so they can sit back and rub their hands probably.

Gaza is a rats nest of tunnels, booby traps and suicide bombers. Also urban warfare is the worst type of warfare. So Israel is just copying the Russians playbook: level it then roll in and mop up.

The French consider protesting to be a fabric of the nation. The fact that they are banning it is HUGE. Remember the yellow vest protests? They think that protesting and striking are their miniature version of the French Revolution. Can’t have the Muslims do it though! (And honestly I don’t blame them)
Imagine if BLM could literally just protest, and not smash windows and loot shit while twerking

Can you people spoiler the alleged dead baby photos?
What if they are just fake images tho? Is the new standard that anything any one person thinks is offensive needs to be censored?

They already ran out of bombs until the US releases more of their pre-staged supplies.

I think that Americans like myself find the lack of specifics weird just because we are so used to the 24/7 extremely invasive and detailed news cycle that happens after mass casualty events here. But that stuff happens because the main causes (mass shootings, isolated bombings, earthquakes, house fires, car/plane/helicopter wrecks, even the recent submarine saga, etc) generally happen in a matter of minutes and then it’s just over. The threat is neutralized, the danger is gone, and all we really have left to do is hyper-analyze every last detail on the news for days on end. This isn’t like that. It’s the start of an extremely intense war. The threat is still active, the region is in chaos, and everyone’s focus is on the ensuing war. It just isn’t top priority to compile lists of the names of every dead baby for the sake of strangers’ morbid curiosity.
There's also privacy laws across the globe that differs from America's.
For instance, in East Asia, you wouldn't be able to find details on the victims and perpetrators of crimes unless it reaches critical mass on social media followed by the spread of dox. It's common to read about family annihilation atrocities done by "John Doe".
A good example is that convoluted dismemberment case in Nanjing. You'll see many disgusting gore on the Western side of the Internet while Chinese users know it was from a completely different (just as gruesome) case in a different city. We take open information for granted and people exploit this to gaslight us.

Israel has a fertility rate of 2.9-3.01. About 1200 deaths so far. 28% are 0-14 years old.
According to this site, ~9.8% are below 4.
Infants and toddlers are 0-2 of age.

Yeah, it's expected to see at least 40 dead babies if we assume the distribution is even. We can take 260 out of 1200 to account for the rave adults.
Plausible, sure.
Is Hamas above killing babies? Lol no
(Same applies to the IDF but intent is different.)
We can agree that baby killing is bad no matter intent.

Ai detection will always be shit because aat this point all modern photos are made with Ai enhancements, ever tapped a spot on your smartphone screen so the camera knows where to focus, an ai is helping with that focus. Therefore you photo was help maded with Ai.
Focusing has nothing to do with AI. It uses either contrast or phase detect or both to distinguish between shades, then lens elements are adjusted to acquire focus.
Photoshop isn't AI.

AI is making stuff out of thin air.

I’m really interested in how the Germans deal with Islamophobia and antisemitism in the coming months.

Too bad those kibbutz people weren’t armed.
If you are going to be killed, may as well take a few with you.
That's 100 years ago. They'd probably do better to tell them what the US Government has lied to them recently. Including what intelligence they had at the time of this "surprise" Gaza attack.
People tend to know the lies sooner than later. People were calling out George Bush from the get go, especially regarding the weapons of mass destruction. Everyone knows that the party stooges know Epstein didn’t kill himself. The stooges know what the lies are even if they have to pretend otherwise. 64
But they'll just find out in 20 years after a declassification, and go "huh, well it's water under the bridge now, I'm sure Government is being truthful now though"
Americans always assume all governments are lying. Americans have a general distrust of authority regardless of which party they’re from, they just distrust other parties and governments even more. Americans tend to assume politicians and party members are inherently corrupt.

Don’t forget coups and government change. Their African colonies learned from the best of French traditions.

Seriously, they just need to get it over with.

I remember that camera focus bit being a contentious point in the Rittenhouse trial. Interesting legal arguments were brought up. Basically, can we trust footage that has been altered even if that footage has been altered for the purposes of clarity. It's like, what degree of touching up a photo or video makes it no longer a fair representation of the events.

If Philip K. Dick was still around I'd bet he could write a fantastic story on the ramifications of doctored footage.

This is a great point and when I saw France ban pro-Palestinian rallies it kind of spooked me. If they can ban the Palestinians for expressing an opinion they can ban me for something else. And to see the Jews call for *even more* censorship online is terrifying.
That's because they don't see it happening to them. If they did, they might have at least given the idea some thought.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Between the Charlie Hebdo incident, the Eagles of Death Metal massacre, and sexual assaults, I think the French government is tired of having to deal with the reprocussions of Islamic culture in their borders.
