not even israels immediate neighbors are looking like they're gonna go to war here, much less other countries further away. burgers are sending a ship because their government feels like they need to virtue signal about how much they love jews, that's all.
this is barely even a civil war, more like a counterinsurgency operation. ukraine and syria had WAY more potential for big international escalation than this.

like, this is what, the 10th time israel got in a war against arabs? it's not really a new thing. we've been there, we know how these things go and we know how they tend to end (jews win)

It's 50/50. Half of the people in my life say this is a travesty all around, without really picking a side, the other half followed this conflict right from the beginning and is pro-Israel (wouldn't be surprised if they've seen the videos from the first day).

Being overloaded is a distinct possibility. Every IDF soldier is chomping at the bit to kill some Hamasses. It's entirely possible a few too many tried to squeeze onboard to get to the fight while the fight is still ongoing.

The IDF isn't transporting soldiers into combat by helicopter during daylight atm

The couple recons-in-force that took place last night were 1) at night and 2) ground-transport
