In response to the children’s name list question (it won’t let me quote it for some reason): I have no idea if that list is legitimately all Israeli child victims. If it is a legit list, it definitely is not complete because it doesn’t mention the Siman Tov children or the Cohen baby.

so your lack of reading comprehension has led you to believe that the entire ground operation is for reaching the hostages because:
2 articles about America's involvement in attempting to rescue/help Israel rescue the hostages
1 article about something that already happened 2 days ago(they did rescue some hostages there I believe)
and 2 more articles and basically say "yeah rescuing the hostages if they're even alive is gonna suck"
if the sand niggers haven't raped, beheaded and then raped their beheaded corpses already then they are probably deep inside of Hamas's tunnels, which would be a truly daunting rescue operation.
I'm sure that if there will still be teams dedicated to trying to find/rescue them, even if its just retrieving their bodies, but that's not what the ground operation is for, its a side objective to an overall offensive against Gaza.

Happening two days ago is the point, because you stated that on day one that the IDF had decided not to rescue them. That is likely true, but they didn't tell the media that.

Why would they be talking about recusing the hostages if they didn't want to keep people's hopes up that they'd be recused? The ground operation obviously isn't meant to be a hostage recuse mission from a military perspective, but that doesn't stop normal people/journalists/Israeli propogandists from assuming that the military would try and recuse them.

Right now they have a lot of support for them to strike back and strike hard. A slow seige will give everyone a chance to calm down and the bloodlust of the people supporting Israel from afar will fade. The news cycle will stop talking about what Hamas did to Israel and start talking about the humanitarian crisis in a besieged Palestine.
