I'm aware of Josei but haven't found one that really clicked with me. I'm someone who lives for genre fiction or at least ones that don't exclusively follow normal people doing normal things with exceptions. I don't mind the tribulations of owning a coffee shop, becoming a fashion designer, or taking up a new hobby. Those tend to be somewhat as engaging than some fantasy and sci Fi stuff.

Because the armor/design of Space Marines doesnt have a heavy dose of "look how big bad and strong I am" instead of being a "realistic/piratical" design. The art is reasonably anatomically correct, even if the faces seem a little samey, but the sub doesn't care about that or the fact that Saki is female, she draws sexy anime girls so she's fair game.

I own several artworks of hers, and one of my favorite is the drawing she has of the Dark Souls Fire keeper. Hell if these prissy women saw the art on my walls they'd think I was a woman bearing the male gaze
