I legitimately don't understand why people focus on numbers.propaganda, it's why everyone was clinging to the meme headlines like the 40 beheaded babies and the fetus cutter and when called on their bullshit said that "it doesn't matter how it happened there are still dead children and women!!!" while ignoring that there are far more dead children and women dead on the other side, it's the same reason they turned off internet in there while still keeping cell towers operational, it's the same reason they are so rabid about turning literally any criticism into anti-semitism and demand anyone trying to talk about humanitarian aid to condemn hamas as a means to derail the conversation away from gazans and back to them. It's all propaganda to make sure that their civilians are valued far higher than palestinian civilians, and it seems to be working I guess.
Say what you will about hamas, and there's a lot to say, but at least they're honest in their goals and in the rare event they try propaganda to deceive people on their goals, it's pretty trivial to see thru .
The reason those ~1,000 people Hamas killed matters is that it was their opening move. They chose to deliberately attack civilians as part of their plan. If they first hit an IDF base and whoopsie, some civilians got killed in the process no one would give a shit but they chose civilians instead.
Yes, very sad. Boo hoo. More dead Palestinian women and children than Israel but having more civilian casualties doesn't make them the good guys all of a sudden. It's the natural consequences of Hamas' actions.
