2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

gah jesus, I don't think they bathe much too either.
Observant Muslims wash their feet at least 3-5 times per day. Mosques tend to have special bathing rooms for this purpose.

Wuḍūʾ (Arabic: الوضوء al-wuḍūʼ [wʊˈdˤuːʔ]) is the Islamic procedure for cleansing parts of the body, a type of ritual purification, or ablution. The 4 Fardh (Mandatory) acts of Wudu are: washing the face, then the arms, then wiping the head, then washing or wiping the feet, and doing these in order, without any big breaks between them.

Wudu is an important part of ritual purity in Islam. It is governed by fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), which specifies rules concerning hygiene and defines the rituals that constitute it.

It is typically performed before prayers (salah or salat). Activities that invalidate wudu include urination, defecation, flatulence, deep sleep, light bleeding (depending on madhhab), menstruation, postpartum and sexual intercourse.

Hila Klein made this at preschool and I thought it was funny enough to share here. Notice how she has no idea what an ak system gun looks like despite it being the most famous gun in the world and she just draws it as a musket for some reason. The random teddy bear flying in also gets me.

Hila Klein did not draw this. She's rather reposting it from an Israeli Instagram rando who describes himself as "artist, social activist, curator, and initiator of community art projects." I have a post in the Ethan Klein thread explaining the situation, including a video clip of Ethan himself:
Since the "children's" art has become a topic on its own, everyone should be aware that Hila didn't draw it herself. Rather, it comes from this Israeli rando on Instagram. According to Ethan, Hila "restoried" a couple of artwork from this guy, "Stories" being an Instagram feature that amount to posts that automatically delete after 24 hours.

First, she posted this:

orenfischer: "The one to blame"

Then she posted this:

orenfischer: "Never forget Never forgive"

The artist originally posted both on October 14th, though the Hamas-focused picture was first. Overall, I gander that the artist himself is equally anti-Hamas and anti-Bibi.

It appears that the Hamas-focused picture was the one that particularly caught the attention and ire of many in Ethan's audience. Here's the reddit post about it, though it seems that most there (after moderation) recognize the anti-Bibi aspect of it. Here's the reddit post about Ethan's response with even more comments. I admit that I'm a bit curious about what the audience response would've been if the small anti-Bibi part wasn't there at all, like in the artist's very first drawing. Would that be considered acceptable dismay from Hila, or a high crime?

Furthermore, Ethan talks about this whole incident in the first minutes of the new podcast, right before going into the Hila cartoon:

On another note, I had no idea Hila has a giant social media following in her own right. 900k+ on Twitter (which is similarly nuked) and 1m+ on Instagram.

IDF statement:
IDF: An analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit.

Intelligence from multiple sources we have in our hands indicates that Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed rocket launch which hit the hospital in Gaza.

Ofc the lie is already out of the stable and Arabs are chimping out

The Pentagon chief ordered 2,000 troops to prepare for deployment to the Middle East, no decision has been made on the deployment yet.

The Pentagon has announced increased US military presence in the Middle East.

Thus far the US is providing security assistance and a flow of supplies of Israel. 2,000 soldiers are being prepared for deployment but no order has been made to send them up yet. The Gerald Ford carrier strike group which has been sent earlier will be joined by the Dwight Eisenhower carrier strike group. The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit is also moving to the region. All in all at least with the carrier groups in mind plus the expeditionary unit this has to be like approximately 15,000-20,000 military personnel sent to the Middle East in addition to the troops already in the area.

This isn't the first time something like this happened in the Middle East. During the Grand Mosque seizure, both the Soviet Union and Iran blamed the United States. As a result Muslim protested against America and burnt down two American embassies.

Normally I'd say you're retarded for trusting your sides propaganda but not considering theirs. But in this case, considering the very active bombing, one way that the Palestinian militias could potentially deploy rockets would be to precisely deploy them close to the hospital from some hidden bunker near it that the Israelis wouldn't spot or if they did wouldn't be targeting.

This is gonna be a devastating blow to morale internally if its true. You can't hide something like this, too many people involved, too many witnesses around you while you were shooting them.

Another pespective of the hamas rocket hitting the hospital. Well done...

Is that legit? If so then it would certainly be a rocket that looks like it failed mid flight. You even see other ground explosions in the area at the same time. (in case anyone wants to argue it was an Israeli strike at the same time) Hell, IF that's really it, it couldn't have been an intentional attack.

Black Americans went from being slaves to having public intellectuals like Booker T Washington and inventors like George Washington Carver with zero support from an entire wealthy region of the world.
The sad thing is they taked the path of W.E. B. Dubois instead of Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver...
