I’m currently watching her Old Navy haul. Hearing shit like “crop tops flatter me” along with the horrific colour combos, makes me think Anna might be the ultimate troll. The gold dress with the long red tartan coat was the killer for me. Sure, she’s an attention seeking piece of work, but often attention seekers deliberately troll because it brings engagement.

It strikes me that he did what was expected of him, realised that he hated it, and decided to be a photographer/videographer instead. Photography is an incredibly difficult profession to make a living in, especially if you're not very good at it... like John.

John's found his niche. Anna takes him all over the world, pays him a decent wage, and provides bonuses in the form of expensive equipment like top of the line desktop computers. Sure, she's unbearable, smells foul, and probably has an extremely creepy co-dependency thing going on with him, but there's not a single job in the world that doesn't have its downsides.

I’m sure he says “I’m a private videographer and editor for a YouTube star” and leaves it at that. His wife is often there in the background too, I’ve heard a giggle now and then.

It is a real job these days but Jon is horrible at it. Some of my favorite YouTubers made interesting content, but also had jobs, so when they had enough subs they’d hire people like Jon and the quality of their videos and animations became TV-worthy. But Jon is really just a tripod, he adds nothing creative. That may be due to Anna, or it may be that he has nothing to add. There is no difference between her doing a haul before him and one after. Now she doesn’t have to use a selfie stick on trips.

If he had creative ides he’d feel stifled doing nothing but standing near her fat-filming her, and I’ve seen several popular YouTubers looking for writers and editors. He could have switched by now. I guess he’s happy being lazy.

I don’t think there is anything sexual on either end, but Anna gets pretty gross when drinking. In today’s day and age Jon has to know not to touch her-didn’t she sue somebody before? She also has to know not to bring on a lawsuit. She often has tags hanging out and straps in strange places-things that should be fixed, but Jon isn’t. Aside from the travel, there really aren’t many perks. She might pay him 50k a year part-time, plus travel and expenses and with his wife, they could be doing ok. It is a solid job in these days and he could transfer to another type of youtuber.
