Because our current media is heavily influenced by globohomo exports from the US and Britain, Our governments have always been filled with west Brit quislings from the start and that's barely even scraping the surface of why the Ireland is the way it is currently. We're still not even a fully free nation as the Republic proclaimed in 1916 has never be achieved and part of our Island is still controlled by the UK while is rest is just some subservient EU back water with a inferiority complex. There's just so much historically and psychologically wrong with the place it would take a whole essay to explain.
