The 3rd wave called men sexist for not voting blue, and now blue is in office and women are getting screwed. So for what the 3rd wave is doing to women, Marge has as a list item to lay at the feet of Patriarchy. The authorities removing women's spaces are the same authorities Feminists have been cajoling men to vote for. Looks like the Matriarchy elected its own oppressors. The 4th wave put the 3rd in power.

Women are again calling men sexist for not supporting the right kind of Feminism. Well 3rd and 4th are both calling themselves Feminism and say they're the true way and the other one is radical, and the both call men sexist until they do what they want. Maybe the church of Feminism can navigate this schism without men.

Combat and specialized groups such as the green berets, special forces, Seals (though those in the military often mock that bunch but that’s inside baseball), etc., need a higher level of fitness than support sectors. So fitness to serve can and should vary. The bigger issue for the armed services is FAT.

There is no dissonance between appreciating what men have done (once upon a time we considered men- and women-created innovations simply “human” innovation, but y’all are lost, so whatever) and being a feminist/ being for that advancement of women/ acknowledging historical and current views/ positions that were or are, in design or in effect, operating to de-humanize or otherwise lower women.

Moreover, there is no dissonance between seeking to acknowledge and consider [not as a granted favor, but as reality] women as equal humans while also acknowledging unique (statistically) gender*-related characteristics/ specialties/ primacies.

*by “gender” I mean sex, which is the same thing, and excludes concepts of “identification” as one or the other or neither

Nothing wrong with being in transport or support. At all. And as I said, I think some level of good fitness is appropriate for the armed services. But the point was - women aside, the service has bigger fish to fry, and that fish is fat as fuck men (and women, but of course a much smaller percentage).

In case, or if, as it seems, you didn't get my thrust, Imo there should be a baseline level of fitness, refined by the position you will or want to play. Infantry need to be able to hump the 100 lb packs for miles and sprint like a motherfucker. But in 2020 there were only like 600 women total in the Army infantry corps - and those women presumably met the then-gender-neutral requirements. Keep the standards for those positions high and all of them attuned to what the job function requires, with a basic minimum that doesn't necessarily align to what is needed for infantry or similar.
