The house always wins even when the game isn’t rigged. I like how astronomical some of the odds get. The odds to hit all 10 tiles is about as good as winning the lottery. On average, I think the lottery is better odds.
This is the biggest reason I don't object to gambling being legal.
Casinos don't even lie to you. Their house rules and payouts are all right there in the open (usually in big fucking print so you can still read it when you're drunk). They post "if you think you have a gambling problem, there is help..." posters (big ones) in conspicuous places throughout their properties.
It is
trivial to find online resources to tell you the exact odds of winning practically any bet in a casino, from craps to electronic keno. Many of them don't even say "gambling's bad, m'kay?" You
know going in that you're more likely to lose than to win, whether you bet once or ten thousand times.
But people still do it.
At least with drugs, alcohol and tobacco there's usually peer pressure and other external influences that push people into an addiction, but a gambling addiction is the second-biggest own-goal in the history of humanity (second only to the tranny snippy-snip).

intercession is mandatory.
Honest question (as I've never had to deal with addiction either personally or indirectly): what can actually be done to stop this kind of addiction? You can't really physically stop him from gambling forever (even if he was homeless he'd find a way to gamble a dollar if someone gave it to him for food), and we all know even if someone could stop him for awhile, he'd immediately resume gambling the moment he could.
What's the treatment for the actual addiction?
I know I'm being irrationally optimistic. I didn't even believe the crack thing until I watched the mf'er make a crackpipe.
Very irrationally optimistic. "Mainstream" opinion aside, the Farms is generally pretty reliable about this sort of thing, and is very strict about keeping and showing receipts. Even if you don't trust the consensus here about it, just fuckin'
look at the guy! He is absolutely amped up on drugs in all these clips. Why on earth would you doubt that?
I'm fairly certain that the parents just gave up on him.
Me too. The real question is why they haven't kicked him out yet. Surely they have to realize eventually he'll just start stealing from them to sustain his habit. He's already trashed their house. Why would they assume he wouldn't rob them blind?
