I don't know much about 2023 Leafy since in my mind he died of an overdose almost a decade ago after his Youtube ban. But reality is often disappointing apparently.
One thing I never understood is the strange reverence around him from other commentary types. I get he's supposed to be like a martyr for free speech but even that's debatable. The fuck did he ever contribute in the history of expressionism, art, and philosophy? The right to say niggerfaggot on Twitter? How bold and brave. Anyway can someone give a brief recap on why he's insane now? What happened since his main ban?

It seems Leafy’s career is over again. He hasn’t streamed on Rumble in a month and his twitter is gone with no new account being made. He started back again after twitter unbanned him back in April and started doing shit on Rumble. I started noticing less activity from Leafy because of his delayed flight and him getting banned from Twitter, afaik tho he still has his discord server up. I don’t think Leafy is going to come back I think he is done again

I think people view the Leafy Era as the Golden Era on Youtube. Fact of the matter is that there were far better, funnier and higher effort content creators at the time, Leafy just happened to be popular at the time. His channel's fame actually shared a lot of similarities to Sssniperwolf's:
- Low effort
- Daily uploads
- Youtube pushed their content to the front page
- Completely unlikeable person
- React content
- Unfunny
Sssniperwolf is even more low effort than Leafy and her videos are far less edgy, obviously because Youtube has become very PC since 2016. Leafy would also clickbait with exaggerated titles (Eg. CRINGIEST KID ON THE INTERNET). Neither one of them care about providing good content, just an easy way to make the big dollars. I'd say the people sucking his dick today were the 12 year olds responding with "HISSSSSSSSSSSSS" back in 2016.
He's probably insane from years of drug abuse and being a drain on society. He's 28 years old and has done nothing with himself since he ran from Youtube in 2017. His goals appear to be no more bigger than "be an edgy online personality". The fact he keeps getting cucked from even doing that is funny.
