Goodbye Volcano High - "The Future of Gaming", The Parody Game of the Beloved Snoot Game Franchise

So I've been brainstorming this post-asteroid project and I'm trying to figure out what to do with Fang. I was thinking of making Anon and Fang a power couple and Fang would be a Johnny Silverhand style character. I want to kind of giver her a punk rocker or 80's metal kind of aesthetic to her.

I mean, I'd 1st ask what sort of post-asteroid world ya wanna go for. Is it gonna be Mad max, Fallout, Wasteland, something like Metro?

I was going for more like Blade Runner or Cyberpunk hybrid with Frostpunk and Post-apocalyptic Garlemald from FFXIV where the whole world is a wasteland, but you have like one or two hubs that are mega cities. It's going to be a human and dinosaur kind of world similar to snoot game. I have reasons for why I want Fang to have a rockerboy aesthetic, but it mainly ties into the human/dinosaur dichotomy that I'm currently developing. Basically humans are locked into caves and that's how they survived the asteroid, meanwhile Dinosaurs were the super majority. I'm very hesitant to this concept though because it's feels dangerously close to political commentary which would look absurd in this kind of world.

Ye, with a concept like this you kind of need to walk this tightrope so it doesn't fall into preachy shit. I think it can be pulled off, but it can be tricky.

The other idea I had for her I scrapped because I know Fang is sort of beloved in Snoot Game so I didn't want to outright change her character into something that's a negative. Original idea was she was going to be a terrorist who's methods and motives were completely incomprehensible because she was so badly traumatized by asteroid impact which she just barely survived by the skin of her teeth. She's basically completely insane. She'd basically be Jinx from Arcane and she'd be groomed by Dinosaur Supremacy groups to carry out terrorist attacks against human organizations.
 
Trish is T-Bug, Naser can be Jefferson Peralez, Stella would be that one fortune telling bitch... who else?

Sage could be the cool bar troon from The Afterlife, but gender reversed. Wait, no, scratch that. Sage isn't cool enough to be her. Although I would like to see Sage lose her cool and threaten to murder someone for some ancient but emotionally justifiable reason.

can change it to underground shelters made from the metro system, if a asteroid enters the system it would take years i hear ,and who say the goverment cant make a whole underground city based on the metro

I was going to make the main human hubs "tunnel cities" actually. Basically because humans overpopulated their small allotted territories and weren't allowed near dinosaur territory, they had to build underground. Sort of similar to this:

The Discord server is so full of yesmen. There's this one user who's always on there who trips over himself to explain why it only makes sense narratively to have a single ending- dude that's not the point of a choice-based visual novel, otherwise you could just make like a little indie animated movie or some shit.
Another one of KO-OP's games is something called Depanneur Nocturne. It's literally just a short walking simulator- for like six bucks. You can totally use Steam's refund policy to your advantage, which is hilarious.
A common argument for lazy devs to be able to charge around $5+ for a short game is along the lines of "You can buy a coffee or a snack for five bucks, so it's totally fine to charge five dollars for an ✨ experience✨" My opinion in that regard is... no? There really isn't a point in dropping a few bucks for something you can watch on YouTube. There are a lot of free apps that provide a lot more content than half an hour of gameplay (or lack thereof). Heck, you can play visual novels that are very similar to GVH and Depanneur Nocturne on itch.io right in your browser. And they're often full of as many they/them characters as your heart desires. But I guess that's to be expected in the current state of the industry where AAA developers also regularly price-gouge.
I mean, I'll give credit where credit is due. The graphics look much better compared to the first trailer. Does it excuse the fact that they're charging you thirty bucks for six hours of unpolished and often janky animations? No. I did really enjoy the scene where Naser tries to pump up Fang for the BOTB, and the beach campfire scene. Are they worth thirty bucks? Not really, especially considering how the story doesn't give Trish, Rosa, or Naomi a satisfying arc. Oh, and there's Reed and Sage, the non-characters. Jesus, I'm starting to think I care more about the characters than the devs do.

As much as i like the idea of a post-apocalyptic story in the snootverse. I think i'd enjoy more either a mod or fanfic about the meteor before it hits earth, and the characters coping with end of civilization. You know something that really bothered me in GVH is how nobody cared about the meteor, the teenagers and their first-world problems were the focus (that's why i hate most media aimed at teens and young adults), and i'm sure the Snoot game cast would handle things differently, just imagine characters like Moe, who has connections to the mafia, Ripley who is Chief of police or ending 3 Anon, who is a soldier, all of them trying to deal with all the riots, mass shootings, and all chaos on Volcadera because an asteroid is going to hit earth in less than 6 months.

That would be a much better story than whatever the hell GVH was trying to be.

Histories of before the meteorite forced them underground, befroe and after, love hwo this devolved into snoot game
the potential it has is incredible, while volcano already stagnated only rememberd by that degenerate troon
 
So is this actually being made into a game or fanfiction or are we just speculating right now
