Tldr most of it.
Didn't know Ryan found Dan. That's fucking brutal and my heart legitimately goes out to the guy. Thats not something anyone should ever have to go through. And to imply that they, mostly Ryan, don't care about Dan because they've made jokes about suicide like every other edgey retard on the internet is pretty gross. You can joke about serious, even personal, subject matter without it meaning you don't care. Laughter is the greatest medicine as the saying goes. And everyone has their own way of dealing with heavy shit/trauma. And to do so through video formats, which you then delete, shows a pathetic lack of spine. Either stick to your guns or shut the fuck up. End of it.
I haven't given two shits about the boys since they made drinking/smoking weed their whole personalities, but if what Ryan says is true, and I have no reason to doubt it considering the subject matter, then fuck the people involved. That's all I gotta say on that.
In regards to Arin Handsome himself: I used to love his videos, and was introduced to Jontron because of the OG GameGrumps announcement video. And I'll always be grateful for that. Absolutely adored all of the Jon Era, and even quite a bit of Dan's early run despite the legitimate shock and awe of Jon leaving put of nowhere.
What turned me off was the WW playthrough. It's a game I know intimately. And to see Arin suck so much shit at what is one of the easiest Zelda titles was too much. It finally clicked with me that Egoraptor wasn't the hardcore GAMER he pretended to be. He wasn't just playing shit up for goofs and gafs. He's actually a fucking retard who cannot grasp even the most simple baby games imaginable.
And it soured the entire before times for me. Something as iconic and Guts turned into an example of one person(Arin) not being able to figure out the mind numbingly simple controls and raging at the one(jontron) who could, unironically. Even Jon had the whole "oooooh aaarins maaaaad" bit that's become GG legend.
And ever since then, you can just tell He's been chasing that sort of moment since Jon left. But Dan The SexPest isn't the type to bring that sort of organic gold out of him. Dan would rather sit there and giggle at poop jokes while arin screams and breaks shit like a toddler instead of antagonize him, unless Dan is being an autist over Punch Out or something. In which case it's Arin trying desperately to appear entertaining on his own while Dan has to devote what's left of his weed rekt braincells to a simple rng game.
The channel that was simultaneously the epitome and antithesis of "Letsplays" became the exact same sort of goy slop you'd expect from OG Pewdiepie. Mindlessly screeching at a screen to the appeal of dipshit 12 year-olds.
And the fact that they hyper-sexualize themselves for these preteen fans just makes it even more skeevey

I've got no love or care for SuperMega (aside from being an enjoyer of Cyndago) Lex and everyone else who tried to cancel Matt and Ryan are legitimately evil pieces of shit.
The only "strong" evidence they had to try and tank them was that their fucking thumbnail artist asked Lex, his girlfriend, for a blowjob twice in one day, separated by a few hours and that he pushed down on her head once which made her uncomfortable and he apologized thereafter. It's private drama between two people in a relationship that the internet never needed to know about. If neither of these two had any level of e-fame, this would be simply an awkward moment of miscommunication between partners that would probably be forgotten about after the 2 years it took for this "story" to break.
The only reason Lex, Leighton, Nick or any of the other gaggle of chucklefucks won is because Twitter and Reddit are full of ravenous sharks that love to see people in high positions fall. Dondrrr was one of the biggest artists on Twitter with a really tight-knit inner circle of other big artists and a mountain of asskissers who wanted in on that circle + the connections it would bring. SuperMega was Game Grumps 2.0 with a massive fujo audience. They both had some pretty substantial height to fall from.
At the end of the day, this is why channels like this never really last. You can't build something long-lasting (relationships romantic, business or otherwise) with snakey LA wannabe celebrities like this. Matt and Ryan ultimately got what they paid for when they decided to appeal to the fickle fanbase they built up.

Considering there's an increased risk of your kid developing autism when you give birth at that age, such a promise is scary.
