Ironically, it's not the rollercoaster of wealth and all the money ending up being lost, the endless cycle of the addict, but it's the yelling while the parents are within ear shot and the lying.

Imagine hearing your son yelling all day every day about "OH MY GOD OH MY GOSH OH MY FUCKING GOD" about how he lost/won, come sometimes to see you to tell you that he won thousands, and then be quiet at diner because he actually gambled it all even though you told him to withdraw. And it starts again the next day. You're in the living room, and he yells and swear all day long, non-stop. This makes me cringe every time he yells.
And the lying. I have an actual rictus every time he says "okay last spin I swear I swear I swear" and then spins again, and again. Sometimes he'll try to be cute about "haha my finger slipped, oh it slipped again" but it's not cute at all. "Okay when I'm down to XXX I withdraw, I swear to God", and then he spends it all without saying anything. It's actually upsetting, I hate when people lie so damn much.

I'll simply read the thread from now on. I just get upset when I watch him.
