"Sex meant gender back in the old days"

I don't even know where to begin unpacking that. They just love making shit up on the fly don't they.
But this is true, isn't it? They were used as synonyms and probably still should be. Has John Money fucked everything up so hard that people truly believe they were always two separate things?

You could say shit like "what gender is your new hamster?" "Oh we're having it sexed tomorrow," and no one would bat an eye.

We need to stop using gender as a fluid thing. Instead say "what random and arbitrary set of cultural norms have you decided are a core immutable part of your personality today?"

Gender was a linguistic designation. Words had gender, not people. The whole point of John Money applying the word "gender" to people was that it was separate to sex. Sex is whether you are male or female. "Gender" is whether you fill the social role of a male or a female. Hence the word "transexual" aka a person whose sex is the opposite of the social role they fill. If they meant the same thing there would have been no need for two separate words.

It doesn't help that at least in America I'm pretty sure a decent number people were using "gender" as a standin for "sex", since they didn't want to say "sex" in the sense of "what sex are you?" which unintentionally layed the groundwork for the wordsalad invasion we see today.

I don't think anyone has studied that phenomena, just something I noticed over the years well prior to the decline.

In all seriousness intentionally confusing language and a refusal to stick to clear definitions is a big part of gender ideology. It's why "adult human female" pisses them off so much. Because it is such a clearly defined phrase. So now they are trying to redefine the word "female" with their whole "sex exists on a spectrum" thing. Which would have been considered insane even 5 years ago.

The bullshit term is an unneeded term. They already have their identifier, we don’t need one to help distinguish us. Having our anatomy made into a joke of degrading terms, and our spaces invaded, is apparently a privilege we didn’t know we had.
This is true and made me think of some examples in the English language where something new changed the common terminology for a preexisting item. Like electric typewriters causing older models to be referred to as manual typewriters. Electronic and digital calculators caused older devices to be called manual and analog calculators until they drove the obsolete items into extinction and went back to just being calculators. Electric guitars gave us acoustic guitars, but electric pianos and violins did not change the name of the manual or acoustic version. I believe that this last situation is most similar to "cis" and "trans" and proves that "cis" is unneeded.

I'm so warped from reading Steph that before seeing anyone even mentioning our Yarrow, I checked that gnome on the back of the vest and immediately thought, "ooh, another gnomekin!"
That's exactly what I thought when I stumbled upon that pooner. Everything screamed Staph except for the art and actually having talent with their custom patches. It's been a hot minute since I read Staph's thread but the pooner in question felt like a long lost sister or the perfect potato companion for her.

Stop dressing like children, trannies. It's not flattering and you will never even attempt to pass if you keep dressing like the mentally ill fetishists you are. JFC it's like he raided some 14-year old's closet.

You know its funny when TRAs use this definition to lure normies into thinking when a trans person transitions that they just like dressing, and doing things associate with the opposite gender of their sex.Like many said if it were just that then there's no point in surgery or taking drugs to convince people your sex is different from what you were born as.

I find it weird how they want sex to exist on a spectrum, or some even go as far as to want eliminate sex out of the equation. When they do this they're basically shooting themselves in the foot.If there's no clear way to be a man or a women and its whatever society makes them to be then how can trans people exist if men and women can't be clearly defined? What is the strong feeling of being the opposite sex(or gender) if the definition is whatever the person claims it to be?

Try asking them for a definition of "queer". Ask ten different progressives what "queer" means, and youll get ten different answers. But all of them will agree that it is a good thing.

It’s a very difficult thing for them to separate from. There are a number of LGB who support separation, as sexuality has nothing to do with your gender identity. However the opposition pushed back really fucking hard & claimed nazigenocidtransphobia. I looked up LGBdroptheT a while back.

Gay men are much more vocal about their view on this. But they also have no problem with laughing in the face of a pooner. The lesbian community seems affected much much more, and is even featured in the news for their attempts to exclude TIMs from their venues.

Many in the LGB community do recognise that the TQ+ is damaging. They just can’t speak up. All that has been built by them is being ruined, and they can’t stop it.

I really hope the LGB community stays strong and figures out how to deal with the invasion.

Lesbians don’t want penis. Gays don’t want vagina. Nor do they want poor surgical imitations that don’t work or look right lol.
Forgot to reply to this, but i remember when i looked up why the T was a part of LGB on reddit and i remember seeing a comment by a user who claimed to be a gay man.(might of been a TIF)He said the real reason the T was a part of LGBT is because as a group they challenge the cis heterosexual normalization of society. They went on to claim because society makes being cis and straight as the normal that it excludes LGBT people, and makes them appear as abnormal.Reading more of it, the guys comment felt like he was a gay man that wanted more than just equality. It felt like he wanted to make it seem like LGBT people are a larger demographic than non trans/straight people.Obviously i'm not saying a large portion of LGB people think this, but i've seen self proclaim queer people who cheered that Gen-z largely identifies as being part of the LGBTQ+ community.(Hell i even saw a comment saying those numbers need to continue to rise up.)There's a reason that a large portion of Gen Z people identify as being part of the LGBTQ+ community, and see being cis and straight as boring and uncool. It seems like LGB people who support the Ts do so not because of equality(because Ts literally contradict homosexuality.)but out of an odd desire for revenge against straight people.

It's not just the trannies.

The whole "critical theory" movement is a war on words having meanings.
A lot of this comes from French post modern academia in the 1970s. A movement which was incidentally led almost exclusively by pedophiles.

The T being added to LGB was something that happened in the mid to late 90s mainly as a marriage of convenience. The LGB had the public goodwill, and the T had the money (because they were backed by big pharma). Back in the 80s very few transsexuals wanted anything to do with the gay rights movement. They didn't discover this kinship for the gays until the gays became popular enough for it to make strategic sense to align with them. It probably did help gay rights in the short term to have a bit of extra cash to throw around, but the long term consequences of inviting the T in have destroyed the LGB community from the inside out. Now you have a generation of "queers" who don't even believe homosexuality is possible. They think that same sex attraction is just "genital preferences". There was an episode of the AfterEllen podcast with Joey Brite that talked about this history.

Here's a mini L to remind everyone that children are a blessing on Earth for their unfiltered honesty.

I was in the bus just minding my own business when these children in front of me where like "ArE yOu A boY oR A gIrl" so I told them I was a girl. They where like but have you always been a girl, I told them I was. They asked me If I had a penis, I said No. Then he told me I had a really deep voice and luckily stoped. It was just annoying and stupid and I just needed to vent. I don't think I could have handled the situation better

by u/Lady_Onyxia
Yeah, that sucks. Don't let it bother you. How old were these kids? Because children between like 5-10 just don't know any better than not to be assholes, and kids between 10-20 are naturally assholes. When I was like 6 or 7 I definitely caused my mother no end of mortal embarrassment by asking strangers questions like "Are you fat or having a baby" and "Why do you smell bad?"
by u/kodama274
I don't know exactly how old they were but they looked like eleven or something and I'm pretty sure it wasn't just being childish. The question of "are you a boy or a girl?" could have been because they are children, but I'm pretty sure innocent children wouldn't have asked "Have you always been a girl?" and "do you have a penis?". Also thank you for taking the time to reply, it definitely made me feel better!
by u/girlidc18
It’s not illegal to tell kids to fuck off you know that right?

And for the main part of this double feature, an autogynephile begins to realise it was all a fetish and has gotten himself on what seems to be a path to recovery... However, he makes the mistake of posting on r/MtF, and tons of autogynephiles leap in to justify how its never "just a fetish". People become very defensive of someone else's negative aspects if they can see themselves in those aspects.

I really am starting to feel like it was all just a fetish tbh.

Hey, so for the past few months I’ve thought of myself as MTF, but something has come up that’s made me question this. Recently I’ve cut back immensely on porn (not 100% but it’s still a lot) and I’ve noticed something interesting. Ever since I’ve done that, I haven’t had any cases of gender dysphoria or euphoria, or hell even any sort of emotional distress or moments over my gender. I know it might be a stretch to connect the two, and I know people say stuff like AGP is bs, but I’m really starting to think it was always just some sort of fetish or porn thing. And like, I’ve never been bothered by being misgendered either. The other day my French teacher said I was a man not a woman (she wasn’t trying to be transphobic, she was just correcting my grammar and stuff) and it didn’t affect me at all. I never get any sort of negative guttural reactions to being called him/he or a boy, and I’m just…in a weird spot atm. I feel exactly how I felt when I first thought I was trans, and I just don’t know what to think anymore. If anybody here has any sort of advice to help me along, it would be appreciated, thanks.

One highlight from the comments is u/TheShiniestStar claiming "No one transitions just because of porn". I mean, surely, even the most deluded tranny must admit that at least one insane porn addict has probably transitioned due to excessive porn exposure. Also, bit of a crossover, but this dude is apparently a F1NN5TER fan.
One other highlight is u/CadyAnBlack literally saying "Stop medicalizing your feelings" and suggesting to stop thinking about life in the abstract. I mean I'm sure nothing good could ever come from looking at your feelings from an analytical perspective and reflecting on why certain things make you feel and react a certain way, right?

Hopefully OP can overcome his fetish rather than loose himself to it. However, asking the freaks at r/MtF certainly isn't a good way to start.

Sorry for the potential power leveling here.
But I feel like this whole new genre of FTM x M NSFW art is a weird form of women romanticising homosexual couples but also wishing it was them in said couple so they make the other one a pooner, I swear any new popular gay ship in the cultural zeitgeist there’s at least 20 other Pooners making one of the couple a troon, anyone else feel the same?

Also reminder that "cis" was coined by a nonce apologist called Volkmar Sigusch so it's even more insulting to say when referring to normal people lol
Another academia pedophilia apologist. Off topic but I think its worth showing real quick. Mind you, his advocacy for pedophiles goes back decades.

SPIEGEL: What do you see as the biggest taboo in sexuality today?
Sigusch: Clearly child sexuality, including everything that goes with it -- pedophilia, pedosexuality?
SPIEGEL: Can these forms of sexuality be treated with therapy?
Sigusch: It's very important to approach pedophiles and pedosexuals and offer them therapy.
SPIEGEL: How should society treat these people?
Sigusch: In accordance with the law. There is no other way to answer the question. We are all potential murderers, and we are all potential rapists and abusers.
Edit: I think the terms "transsexual" and "cissexual" go back further than this guy.

Well, yes? It's projection from the yaoi addled mind of your average fujoshi, who are a large part of the pooner segment in current year.
If you read fanfiction on Archive Of Our Own you'll notice how many of the authors are TIF in some way. Same with the porn artists who draw any popular shounen/seinen anime, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or My Hero Academia, they will draw Jotaro Kujo with a vagina getting fucked or troon out the other main characters.
Instead of regular slash fiction, they add the tranny flavour-of-the-month twist. It'll be something else whenever the tranny tidal wave recedes.

If you browse any of the drawn porn subreddits you can easily guess the pronouns of posters because of these extremely common traits. He/They's drawing strong men getting railed in their pussies. Visibly queer "art".

The new Goosebumps show thought they would get ahead of them and got a pooner to play the gay character

You're late as fuck mate. TIFs have been doing this for years. The reverse, making one member of an ff couple a futa, which started happening at the same time, is why gave up on femslash several years ago. It used to be written primarily by lesbians, febfems and the occassional dude and there was no dicks at all. But something happened around 7 years ago and more and more fic was written with one girl having a dick. I think "queer" girls, aka spicy straights, started writing it and putting in dicks because they are straight, and, since they outnumber lesbians, it was just dicks everywhere. I was always a lurker so I had no idea where the "I actually like women" femslash writers were hanging out. I even ditched AO3 and hung out on /u/ for a bit because of their no dick rule.
