From what I’ve seen, recently, he gets a lot of $3 superchats and a couple $100 donators every night. I’ve also seen ppl send in superchats ranging from $500-$1000 on good nights, but those are good nights (by no means every night or even close). I’d say, on average, he makes $300-$450/night.

I personally think he’d probably make more if he’d stream at a reasonable hour, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

He’s extremely irritable with many of his superchatters unless they send in the bigger superchats, which I imagine makes ppl less inclined to donate. He’ll get irritated and mock them or go off on some irate tangent about how stupid they are, even if they say something he agrees with, if their take is not mind-blowingly insightful and they only send a small amount, which is an unreasonable expectation, IMO. Like, of course ppl are gonna be dumb and cliche and bland and make stupid jokes, you’re dealing w/the general public, what do you expect? Lol.

Honestly, it makes AF seem more like some online cult headed by a bizarre guy who seemingly holds all his followers at the mercy of all his idiosyncrasies, pet peeves and insecurities - like it seems like an eccentric guy with a bunch of followers who walk on eggshells so as not to say something that annoys or bothers him than it does a political movement. I don’t usually watch the superchats, just clips of monologues here and there but in the past month, I’ve watched a handful of full episodes and that’s what it seems like to me.

Eh, not really. There are many different ethnic fractions within the Catholic Church who have loyalty to Rome but are very ethnocentric. The Coptic Catholic Church from my home country is an example. Besides, European Catholicism and Latino Catholicism are pretty distinct. One of the reasons it’s become more ‘blended’ is due to mass migration and having a Latin American pope pushing for that integration; but I promise you, the Catholic traditions that have have been carried over in the US by Euro immigrants and the Catholic traditions imported by beaners are not super compatible.You end up with churches spread thin trying to cater to all of these diverse groups holidays’s and such, and ultimately the congregation self segregates regardless. There’s a lot that can be said about Vatican II and the integration of Marxist, Unitarian ideologies into the Church. What Nick supports actually weakens and fractures already well established Catholic communities. More mouths to feed, more kids to educate, more charity to give out…and less of it goes back to those who actually tithe to their parish.
