I would do this because my intention would be to have a fair and critical discussion of a video, and not simply to share the video. Big Jay made $30k total in 2013, and he was overbooked in terms of work, he was a solid well known stand up that could sell out even clubs in bumbfuck virginia, and still he didn't make more than a star bucks employee. meanwhile any comedian that started a podcast especially if they had even a small following got so much money it was insane in comparison. Fleshlight was paying 30k a year to guys that weren't experienced enough to even open for Big Jay. So thats what leads to a bunch of guys that are 50+ who never bothered learning about social media deciding in the 2010s "hey lets get on this MeTube thing and reply back to people on FaceSpace" trying to finally get the big money from their comedy careers.

comedians being broke and having egos and having been taught not to let people heckle them almost all become lolcows on the internet, its just about how quickly and when they learn the internets social norms. They end up in parasocial drama spirals because while it might be normal to have arguments with other barflys in NYC or LA where nothing is recorded or remembered, its a different ball game online. Look how people irl treat Dick or Nick vs how they were treated online. the type of "fuck you stalker" personality that thrives in the comedy club scene makes you a joke online, Marc Marons a great example of that. If you notice if you've heard of Redbar, most of the "fools" he goes after are over 40 for a reason. If you grew up with the internet and have any common sense or self awareness your chances of being a lolcow practically vanish. Which is why you don't really see people going after cumtown, LPOTL, Matt&Shane, etc or if they do its barely successful. Jesse PS rule about not going after people born before the 1980s is probably the biggest reason he's not remotely famous still to this day despite going after people for 14 years.

Even this website, somehow despite tracking lolcows for a decade the ones that explode in activity and are the ones that are consistently milked are guys like Nick who didn't really "get" the internet and grew up with an entirely different group of social norms and can't stand that for once their usual tactics have failed. combine that with personalities disorders that cause them to loop forever in the mess they made for themselves and you get guys like Boogie or Nick or Ethan who pre-internet could bounce from job to group to friends pulling the same shit without ever seeing how much of a joke they are to everyone around them. Except now thanks to the internet they can't just blow off the criticism the same way these old comedians used to mock the hecklers in smoke filled bars so they over react and cause even more people to mock them. Literally a drama spiral. Patrick Tomlinson is a great example, first time he faced concentrated mockery and its destroyed him same with most of these guys who still think coolness is just like it was defined in the Heavy Metal days of Leather Jackets and Mustangs. TL;DR comedians are more likely to be lolcows because they're old and spent time in a business where lolcow traits were considered normal. they get into parasocial drama spirals because by self selecting as a comedian they care more about how people react to them vs the money. this leads to them overreacting if you besmirch them.

There are a few people on this thread who watch FC. It's pretty good, but they've had some muckups. Scott is honestly the worst part of the show, but he's brought a great crowd around him.

The future conflict guys are ex-military boomers. They aren't the type of men who sit around drinking Soy Latte in Starbucks posting on twitter all day. They aren't going to be plugged in to the latest fuckshit with Rekieta. They are just recommending him because of his prior good reputation.

They would be better off finding a new host. Scott isn't too bright. Also being boomers they like Israel too much.

Scott is definitely holding back a lot of growth potential for the channel. The last stream I watched was when Hamas attacked Israel and Stan lost his cool on air when someone in chat, I believe it was CervixHammer, was making critical comments about Israel. He said something along the lines of move to Canada if you don't like Israel as our ally. I don't like Israel and I certainly don't like Palestine. But when the Israelis are clearing parts of Gaza like a Command and Conquer game and giving very little push back on the collateral damage. That's a huge turn off for me.

Nick built up a lot of goodwill over the years, and his more normie audience has no idea who Juju or Vito are, or just how earnest he is when explaining how he inserts his testicles into his wife. Given how infrequently he streams, and how he never day streams anymore, many still only know the old trad-dad act. I'm still shocked how often someone enters this thread to chime in with a "I didn't realize how far Nick's fallen", a year after the collapse really got going.
