Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

Nah I'd say it's justified. Those little shits owe their entire careers to Rowling and they threw her under the bus just satisfy a few loud faggots on twitter. What's really funny is that not a single one of them has done anything of worth outside of Harry Potter, so they're still going to be associated with the franchise, and by extension Rowling, no matter how much they try distance themselves from her.
The video used the youngest possible photos of them all from the films. It's like using a photo of Baby Hitler. Yes, they absolutely betrayed her about a decade later but using that image remains harsh.

And what are you talking about, Daniel Radcliffe showed off his dick in Equus. Truly sterling work that more people should be aware of.

Yeah, I agree with you there. Should've used one from the recent reunion in 2022 which excluded Rowling.

What is Equus? All I could find with that name was a 1977 film and a PBS Documentary. I certainly hope he didn't take his dick out in the latter. Although you did remind me that Emma Watson was in that shitty Beauty and the Beast remake. Shit made a billion dollars yet everyone still remembers her solely as "the girl from Harry Potter."

At age seventeen, in a bid to demonstrate people that he was prepared for adult roles,[72] Radcliffe starred in a West End revival of Peter Shaffer's play Equus at the Gielgud Theatre. The piece had not been revived since its first run in 1973.[38] Radcliffe took on the lead role[64] of Alan Strang, a stable boy who has an obsession with horses. Advance sales topped £1.7 million, and the role generated significant pre-opening media interest, as Radcliffe performed a nude scene.[38][73] Equus opened on 27 February 2007 and ran until 9 June 2007.[64] Radcliffe's performance was acclaimed,[74] as critics were impressed by the nuance and depth of his against-type role.[75] Charles Spencer of The Telegraph wrote that the actor "displays a dramatic power and an electrifying stage presence that marks a tremendous leap forward." He added: "I never thought I would find the diminutive (but perfectly formed) Radcliffe a sinister figure, but as Alan Strang ... there are moments when he seems genuinely scary in his rage and confusion."[76] The production transferred to Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre in September 2008. Radcliffe continued in the lead role, starring alongside Kate Mulgrew, Anna Camp, and his Harry Potter co-star Richard Griffiths.[77][78] Radcliffe was nervous about reprising the role on Broadway as he considered American audiences to be more discerning than those in London.[79] Radcliffe's performance was nominated for a Drama Desk Award.[80]

Others have already answered better than I would have, should have clarified it was a play. I think it's funny he went for a role so different from the Potter one but it was likely to try to separate himself from that role. Something Watson no doubt hoped for too but as you say that failed. Beauty and the Beast like most Disney live action stuff came and went leaving no real impact.

Huh. Never thought that they’d allow minors play naked roles like that.

At 16, a "minor" can do most things an adult can do, except buy alcohol or cigarettes, or acquire a license to drive a car.

IMO, the bigger issue isn't a 17 year-old doing a nude scene; it's the people who want to see it. Nude scenes are demand-driven. Anyone who wants to go and watch a play in which they know a late teen gets his todger out is probably suspect.

I remember seeing promo pics of this, but I think you only saw his butt. I didn't know he was 17, and that's why I didn't go looking to include it. I also thought it was a movie, not a play.

I don't understand why HARRY POTTER had to get naked and fuck a fake horse or whatever the fuck happens. Is this like when Disney girls show they're sluts now ?

Because he was 17, and the whole point of being a teenager is wanting to be seen and treated as an adult, and the guy did not want to be child actor from a child movie his whole life, but especially not at 17.

@Scarlett Johansson That is a well written and rounded synopsis that unfortunately will go right over the troonshine Brain.
I keep coming back to this and that post. Having played the game, she's absolutely right. It isn't at all antisemitic nor is it presented as such. Besides that, Jewish people at WB actually worked on the game. If it was in any way seen as supportive of nazi and anti semetic stuff, they would have brought it to the attention of the overseers immediately.

(As an aside, Laraine Newman of SNL fame is Jewish, and she has worked on hundreds of Warner Bros projects as a voice actress. Her daughter stars with Jean Smart on HBO's Hacks.)

The whole thing with the horn that @Sourceress pointed out is also something that got blown way out of proportion to the point of nitpicking. As Sourceress stated, no sane person (re: average gamer) is going to view the horn and go "Ouy vey my good bubbykins look at this horn its referencing the obscure incident in 1614 where three people died!" It really was just another thing for people to start slapfighting over because hurr durr Joanne is bad grrtrrr.

So yes then, it is just the generic child star getting naked to prove how mature they are. A classic.

One of the lefty places I lurk in (which I am not going to screen cap, because it would PL me into the sun) is still convinced that the hogwarts game's entire plot is about the player suppressing a goblin rebellion. Nothing else. No subtly or nuance. You play an evil bastard who loves nuking goblins. Rowling is a out-and-out racist, who hates jews and blacks, and who forced the game to be about nothing but goblin murder because of this. They haven't even read the wiki plot. They get all their news and information off twitter, even while they decry it as also a haven of racists and bigots, owned by the arch-lord of evil himself. It's really quite fascinating to watch the knots they twist themselves in support their belief that Rowling is evil incarnate.

About the whole jk Rowling and "TERF" bs, they are still salty about Hogwarts legacy.
LOL, Hogwarts Legacy disappeared in a puff of smoke? It's the best-selling game of the year with over 15 million copies sold (as of May 2023, don't have the latest numbers. Maybe Zelda has overtaken it).

Poor troons have to cope by calling it "sauceless", whatever the fuck that means.
