South Park + Its Political Sperging (?) Thread - Season 26 ongoing!

@Homer J. Fong
Hey, I'm glad you liked it, even though all that political projection doesn't make sense you did make it your own and that's what good art is supposed to enable you to do.

I found it brilliantly written in ways I can't even fully describe. Take the fart joke
usually this kinda of stuff is very basic and childish but this had an extra element to it. First I lol:ed a bit but something about the way she said and kept on going with nananana nanannaa just made it sound bitter, like some woke bitch *trying hard* to be funny and mean. It was funny because the setup but it also showed why all these new re-imaginings and what not suck, if not completely then at least a little more than the originals

I'd pay good money to eavesdrop the Disney boardmeeting discussion the next work-week, lol.

Yeah the “Tale of Scrotie McBoogerball” lampooned the fans like me, it’s called autism.

Still I will argue it is interesting satire. The analogy that Musk & Bezos take the form of Handymen speaks a truth to me. We can whine and bitch about corporate greed and so on but are we actually going to have the balls to fight back against it? Rely on local business again? Or is convenience too great?

How they've never made fun of Justin Trudeau is a sign they've lost their edge. Canada has a literal Blackface actor for a prime minister and is really vapid in general whom also applauded a literal Nazi officer after arresting truck drivers for daring to protest his tyranny.

They've made fun of Stephen Harper already.
Technically they did in so far as portraying Trudeau as a Trump lookalike that Garrison raped to death. Even though they didn't use his visuals, everything they said about Not-Trudeau and how no one took him seriously until he actually got elected and started running Canada into the ground and how his policies were causing an exodus of Canadians, rang true.

I don't think there will be a lot of rule 34 of these Panderverse characters, except Kenny's replacement since she's a lesbian I guess. The rest though aren't white enough.

They have that clip on YouTube. At first it felt weird. I haven't watched the new episodes. I did like the jokes about Disney.

I know they would never do this but it would be funnier if they were voiced by Trey and Matt with stereotypical accents, like Spontaneous Bootay in The Fractured But Whole.

Oh wow they sure stuck it to Disney and Kathleen Kennedy haha what's the next bleeding edge satire, mocking Mister Wizard's World? Maybe something about those "video" games the kids like!
I can't BELIEEEEEEEEEVE all of these bad Disney movies are because of Kathleen Kennedy using a magic stone and not because of extremely influential investment firms that will pull critical amounts of generous funding if you don't comply to their rules!

Elon Musk even approves of South Park's Panderverse. Disney is going to steam in anger about this.

I like that the episode made fun of both sides. It made fun of Disney and Hollywood for being uncreative activists who just add self-inserts into everything. They made fun of the Fandom Menace types who drone on and on about Woke shit instead of doing anything about it. They also made fun of the upcoming handiness crisis. I remember Null talking about this in a earlier MATI episode saying that we are going to see a shortage of people who are competent in jobs like tech and who can optimize shit well. I get the feeling Matt and Trey maybe lurkers here on the Farms.

What can they do? Create their own billion dollar industry? Even watching something else is no longer an option outside of Asian entertainment. Everything is gay now. At best you can argue that those people never leave the same topics.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but it sounds late and gay as usual to modern South Park. TLJ was 6 years ago and modern films are more pozzed and nigger-ized than feminised.

I like to think that they were making fun of the king of Woke complaining, MauLer. Doesn't have a real job, still lives with his parents, is best friends with a furry groomer and coomer and spends 10+ hours a day bitching about Disney and Woke entertainment. At least someone like Eric July is doing something to create a alternative. MauLer on the other hand still has not finished his TFA review and complains when people ask him about it saying; "It's a lot of work guys".

The ending was weak because everything just... works out. There's nothing difficult or clever that has to be done to fix the problem. Nothing humorous. It really could have used South Park Mickey Mouse showing up and breaking some skulls on the Disney board or something. The entire episode is very low-energy, very stale, very going through the motions

It’s not South Park’s job to be political soapbox. Mocking a weird trend in pop culture is more than enough. Yes the show doesn’t say “Blackrock is forcing companies like Disney and Netflix to make leftist garbage that appeals to no one.” It’s the fact that they said anything at all is fun.

Remember those on the left/apologist side do act like we’re the crazy ones. As PC Principle does in the episode. They want to tell you that “woke” isn’t a real tangible thing when it’s obvious that are dumb entertainment has been infected with it.

To be fair the special does have them defend Miles Morales, saying he’s a good character with his own unique storylines. Which is funny to me as Spiderverse 2 literally goes “All Spidermen go thru literally the same shit as Peter Parker. We the folks at Disney/Marvel are just so damn lazy we can’t do anything new.”

Like damn I honestly don’t know if Puerto Rican Spider-Man is a character that can stand on his own. But Across The Spiderverse seriously undermines him as a character.

Sounds late and gay like everything South Park has done for almost a decade now. This should have come out 5 years ago at the minimum in the same way that Kyle going transracial and his dad transdolphin getting a sequel episode mocking that shit hard instead of the Randy Savage take where he doesn't even look like the grotesque real life parodies.

I was pleasantly surprised by the episode. Felt like how South Park used to be:
A. Self-contained topical story
B. Both opposing sides got ripped on
C. Side plot addressing a real social issue
D. Some crude humor here and there
E. Bit of shitposting by Matt and Trey
F. Some random humor that caught me off guard
A. Sent back to their universe and handyman problem "solved". B. Woke shit is fucking up franchises but the fans that care too much about it are too dickish about it. C. Regular tradesman becoming rich because no one else wants to do that kind of work. D. Farting on Tammy and the gay cop chick being anti-white. E. Multiverses are retarded. F. Gay chick butters singing loo loo loo and Randy as an angel. I cracked up hard at the Baldur's Gate game save joke.

I originally thought they were going to pull a fast one and say that the race swapping is a figment of the imagination (or the idea of it being done is coming from retarded conspiracy theorists) but they stuck to the statement that Disney movies suck now because they're lazy and losing money as a result. Still not exactly a new topic, could have been better but I came for laughter and got it.
