I have no idea (apparently there weren't even any Israelis on the flight and just Russians) but there's a lot of Jews in Israel who's families came over in the 70s and 90s from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Dagestan. The term is "Kavkazi" or Mountain Jews.

The testimonies are corroborated. There is GoPro footage taken by Hamas that is available online showing them carrying out these attacks. None of the things mentioned in the testimonies are out of character for Hamas. If you think these things are uncharacteristic of Hamas and Islamic terrorists, then you might need to do more reading

As mentioned in this thread before, in Judaism, displaying the dead is considered extremely disrespectful. There are strict burial customs and traditionally, a body is supposed to be buried within 24 hours. Yet despite these practices, Israel still published some evidence.

Yeah after the Ukraine invasion I started seeing tons of Russians all over the place whenever i'd go to a big city. Young Russians. Old Russians. Famous Russians. Gay Russians. It's pretty funny because there's a tribe in India, the Bnei Menashe, who basically started self identifying as Jews in the 1950s because their tribal leader had a dream that he was actually Jewish, and they became convinced that they're the descendants of one of the lost tribes. An Israeli group, Shavei Israel, then started giving them Jewish lessons and now about half their population lives in Israel. Their claim is pretty dubious (genetic analysis doesn't really back them up and a lot of their evidence of Jewish traditions seems to have emerged from after they started deciding to be Jewish) but nevertheless, they're able to emigrate.

A bunch of black Hebrews pulled something similar around the same time (divine revelation that they were secretly Jewish) and managed to get to Israel and then refused to leave, and they kicked up enough of a stink that they eventually got permanent citizenship - the main reason they're not more successful is because they refuse to undergo the conversion route due to their strongly held belief that ancient Israelites were black and white Jews aren't real Jews so everything that Jews believe is fake nonsense invented by white people who are stealing their ethnic identity... which obviously doesn't endear them to Israel. I don't know exactly how this particular clash started off, but I assume that despite hating Israelis and white Jews, the Black Hebrew Israelites still want the land of Israel for themselves and so won't be big fans of people arguing that the land belongs to Palestinians and Jews shouldn't have moved there.

I'm not Jewish so I'm not 100% how they are seen, but there's also a few "lost tribes" in places like Nigeria and Uganda who keep trying to immigrate to Israel via the Law of Return but they're deemed ineligible because they're very literally Christians and basically the African equivalent of Messianic Jews.

I feel like they seen that Falasha Mura (Ethiopian Christians who have Jewish heritage and they were converted against their will generations before) were allowed to immigrate and get Israeli citizenship so they are trying to chance it by copying them
