All the reactors are fucked up in some ways, but in general, I like them all (well, most). But it doesn't mean the farms can't have an opinion. Isn't that what the reactors have, an opinion?
I hope Sam and Yaba don't get all butt hurt and start trashing the farms like DC did, when people here stopped kissing her ass. It just made her look stupid and sour grapes. I thought they were better than that.
Awe, that's too bad, they are both grifters, but I like them both for their humor. I mean, why have a channel and try to get views if you don't want the money? It's not like Gorl World is some big humanitarian movement that is trying to educate people on a cause and "get the word out" using their channels for that, or something
If Sam wants more views she really needs to let that story go. The only people who care about it are the actual people involved. She would do better to stick with Callie; now THOSE streams are very fun and entertaining. Or, find another lolcow to research and discuss. How about Alanna? I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know the complete history. There are many many others to focus on and Sam does a good job, but it has to be about lolcows people are interested in
I really hope that youtuber Sam found is the one who tried to buy the equipment. If not, I feel for the girl. She could just be a pawn by someone using her address as a drop. On the other hand, it was weird that the girl and Sam's daughter had the same food styling shit? Tin foil hat, but maybe there is a connection there?

Eh, Sam reacting bombastically to criticism she feels is unfair is part of her brand. If she was measured in her responses she wouldn't be a reactor. If she turns against us, she turns against us. It is the way of the cow and the cow-adjacent. No one is a cow or covers a cow and is wholly sound. I'd also argue that no one who routinely watches the one covering the cow has the tightest hinges (hi!).
I don't know if she will ever be able to let go of the Mandy and Sean thing because she believes, as do others, that Sean and Mandy played a direct role in giving Yaba and Sam's address and phone number to Clara and Tragic so the Zoom "bash your head with a brick and slit your kids' throats" Christmas calls could happen. She'd left them alone for a very long time until Mandy deliberately reentered the fray in a manner that threatened Yaba's kids. So I get the continued anger, and, again, the core of Sam's fans tolerate it well enough. No matter how tiresome I find some of her obsessions, her obsession with Ron is well up my alley and I really look forward to her coverage on November the 1st and 2nd should the Attic twins manage to open that godforsaken store.
Alanna is why I stopped reading this thread for a couple of years. I'd have to listen to more "weird disappearances in the woods" streams if Sam covered Alanna. But I'd still come back when goes for Clara or Ron. And if Chantal ever stops being more boring than dust, I'd be happy to listen to Yaba daily again. It comes and goes, it ebbs and flows - we need to remember that and so do the reactors.

Sam and Yaba filed a police report regarding those threats, then declared it "out of their hands." They are the victims in this case and are entitled to know the progress of the complaint. I for one would like an update. Even if the update is something like "There is progress being made, but we can't talk about it."

It’s definitely worth a listen just for the second hand embarrassment and the shout-outs but otherwise the stream is a half-assed mess. Who’d have guessed the best advice for Sam is from Chantal of all people: If you don’t like it don’twatch read. I’m sure we can live without your hot takes, can you really stream without ours?

I kept this in draft for 2 days because I didn’t want to pile on but Sam continuing to whine feels like a signal.
On the stream about Clara’s real estate sale, she didn’t have basic, critical transaction calculations written out, numbers she needed to prove points. She didn’t even have the listing and sale prices at hand from what I could tell. This then caused a 10-minute chaos where she was asking chat to multiply for her and looking though the listing. She then got things wrong, got flustered, came up with wrong answers, and then abandoned the question of how much Clara walked away with.
There were also basic real estate things she got wrong. Fine, chalk that up to inexperience. Not having the basic facts at hand and written out clearly, since math isn’t her forte, was the issue. Maybe that stream improved but I clocked out.
Sam coasts on the enthusiasm she and her viewers have about taking down R&C. She could take it to the next level if she improved her prep, especially when she’s talking about facts and figures.
I am pro-Sam and wish her success. I will not, however, agree that she “does a good job.”
