Christians/white conservatives have been mocked ruthlessly online for years. However Jews/Israelis are largely protected under certain guidelines. The reason why there may be a "rise in antisemitism" as the media calls it in recent years, because restricting freedom of speech is going to piss a lot of people off. A few accounts I follow have been critical of Israel but not calling for Israel to end. For the most part the mainstream media has been neutral, the media doesn't seem overly pro-Palestine or anti-Israel.




Google search for updates on this conflict do not show anything "condemning Israel".

I don't see how a ceasefire could ever be an option for Israel. Beyond the strategic harm of any pause in the fighting, there's no reason to take actions based on the possibility that Hamas still has any hostages. Even if they were to somehow pull all the hostages out of the tunnels for a deal, Hamas wanted all 5k+ of their terrorist friends to be released in exchange. Maybe if they had explosive collars like in Fallout. Otherwise, no way.

Most conscript armies are kinda meh at things like city fighting.

In fact, the Israelis were absolutely shocked at how well the US military did overall in Vietnam because the majority of infantry over there were conscripts.

The IDF is a gigantic conscript army with a few small elite infantry and armor units backed up by a great air force and a Navy that's possibly run by absolute retards (see their constant fuckups in regards to AsHMs) , barring the sub fleet and the Naval Commandoes.

So yes, they've genuinely voted for a motion that contains the phrase "intifada until victory" and a mass uprising "on both sides of the green line" (so in other words, inside Israel). I think it's pretty obvious that this is a pro-killing-Israelis stance and a demand to disestablish Israel, but I'm sure they're going to wheel out the "Jihad means internal struggle" argument that intifada is a neutral Arabic word meaning resistance that has no additional historical context in regards to Israel/Palestine and they didn't specifically say that Israel couldn't be part of the Middle Eastern socialist federation.

I'm also not sure that either Israel or Palestine is overly concerned about what the trade union that represents the a bunch of continually striking UCL academics has to say about the conflict, but I can't imagine the UCL branch of Friends of Israel is having a very good time this evening.
