Say what you will about Dodge...I mean Ram, trucks, but they seem to be the cushiest of the trucks out there and I think if my hand was forced, I'd get one of those.
As for propane, it is a fantastic gas for many things, but not for grilling. Charcoal is the superior product. I don't care what big propane says.

I'd love me a Dodge but you just won't get parts for them in Eastern Europe. Ford's a good alternative but I hear conflicting opinions about it. Then there's alternatives like Volkswagen but it just ain't the same as ol' reliable American steel.

I know people who swear by Chevy trucks, and while I've never been in a chevy truck, the rest of their line up is always so underwhelming I can't imagine buying a truck. I'd personally go with Ford.

Now, as for VW trucks, aren't really just lifted sedans?

I suppose it depends on what kind of truck does one want. A real body on frame truck meant for heavy hauling, or a light / mini truck with a bed, meant for small trailers.

I think mercedes rebadged a nissan truck recently, didn't they? Or was that VW.

I daily a Mercedes and a pickup version of that doesn't sound too bad, if a bit pretentious. As long as the ride comfort and interior quality are there I don't mind the same chassis.

But no matter which way you go in regards to your pickup of choice, it will get insecure men and women thinking about your penis.

I know it’s basically a scam but the idea of driving a brand new truck off the lot makes me stupid happy
Same, but not for a truck. I'd love to spec out a perfect to me model of w/e car I'm interested in. I was considering a mustang for that before covid made car prices retarded. So I'll stick to my devalued german cars for now.

Frankly, I think anything outside of NPC cars will do that.

People overpsychologize those who buy all-terrain vehicles.
It depends. I have a great disposition against people who drive trucks due to their parking and driving behavior.

Whenever I see a Ram truck behind me in the rearview mirror, I see the Russian word "мая" which just means the month May. Then I try to count numbers in Russian and realize I forgot how to.

Most just want to have stupid fun, that's all.

Man, you have no idea. My country has recently seem a spike in an import of American trucks or American-style/esque pick-up trucks, they're becoming quite popular here - the amount of malding by some people is like nothing you've ever seen
Even this morning in the news there are articles bitching because apparently the Standards Commission or whatever is changing the defined size of an 'average parking space' to accommodate this things. People are flipping out, and as you say psychoanalysing people who buy them with every negative stereotype known to man. Many such cases.

Edited to add malding from the article:

You bought a truck? Hah, now I'm thinking about your penis. Take that, Trumpanzee!

Remember the internet before women were on it? You could reach out and message anyone for any reason. Now it's "eww why are you talking to me"
I knew something was obviously very, very wrong when I started hearing women use 'slide into my DMs' as though it's some sort of sly maneuver. And Discord servers have become borderline unbearable with autistic rules requiring you to ask for consent before you can DM m'lady. I'm equally as willing to blame this one on horny coomers that demand bobs and vagene out of anything that looks vaguely female, but considering women on the internet(or at least women that broadcast their femininity) is a relatively new phenomenon, it's a real chicken/egg problem for the modern age.

My wife's in a band with an older guy who is friends with some impressively famous/successful men who are musicians. She asked how he made that happen, and he said he just writes to them, they talk, and if they're in the same town they hang out, maybe jam together. He has an annual retreat he goes on with some of them, it's pretty cool. She thought that sounded easy enough, messaged a lesbian musician she was a fan of, had just seen, and thought she could become friends with. Never heard back. Saw that the message was read and ignored.
