Watching today's MATI made me realize something I've seen a lot recently: what is with the fucking seethe over age gaps?

In my life I've seen several girls I know date much, much older men. Two of my best friends when I was a kid ended up doing it, with one going on to have kids with one and be happy. I know when I was eighteen basically all the girls I knew were doing it, often to the detriment of the dating life of men their age.

But recently I'm seeing a lot of "OMG SO CREEPY YOU JUST WANT TO FUCK A 12 YEAR OLD" when you see men say they'd be okay with an age gap. What gives? Where is this mass hysteria coming from?

American twitter pedos covertly trying to make absolutely everything pedo so nothing is anymore. There was also some seething about people dating someone shorter than them, because it's "minor coded", so tough luck, midgets

I'm a bit torn on the subject. Age gaps larger than 10 years before you're 30 seem like a recipe for disaster if they're about anything more than sex. However once you hit 18, everything is fair game. While I do think it's predatory to hover around people that young when you're older, it doesn't change the fact that they're legal adults. It's also not lost on me that women are the ones most overtly concerned about minors while also being the most attracted to them.

Once someone here pointed it out, I can’t help but notice it.

Every thread I visit with a mostly harmless lolcow who’s more of a danger to itself than others has at least one A-logger going absolutely feral over every silly thing they do. I started looking into their posts, and I find they almost all come from the BP.

One of the things TERF's hate when people bring up is how much liberal women (and let's be totally real TERF's are leftists) helped to create the tranny crisis of today. Their heavy acceptance and pushing of gays helped open up the gates for trannies to come through. You could argue they had no real way of knowing that would happen which is valid I don't think anyone did have a clue but they still are guilty.

Their support of gays has always been shaky and when it wasn't it was more about fetishization, which makes the troons fetishization of women fitting. As much as they want to deny it, it's about as close to karma as you can get for how they've behaved.

Defending Amber Heard is stupid for many reasons. One: her and Depp had no kids. Two: she was known to be horrifically abusive to her previous partners, too. Three: the shit she did to him was truly well and beyond the pale.

Some people are never able to mature. It's still hard to be fully actualized without a healthy dose of life experience, but there are a lot of people that stay at the surface level until the day they die.

I've heard some complaints that they don't like how quickly society foams at the mouth for an opportunity to take down a woman. I get the argument, but it's not a gendered issue like they think (Michael Jackson instantly comes to mind). In addition to that, we also love a great comeback story and someone like Amber Heard is incapable of doing that without a major attitude adjustment which is unlikely.
