The Muslims waving Palestinian flags outside the White House can't be bigots because bigotry = power + privilege. Therefore I'm inclined to treat them as poor, misunderstood minorities who are too stupid to know the difference between right and wrong.

The problem with term limits is it means whoever's in Washington the longest has the most power. Yes, the gerontocracy sucks, but if you want to see the harm term limits can do, look at the executive branch. Everyone in the executive branch below I think the Director level is a lifer due to various laws passed over the years ensuring neither the President nor his appointees can fire anyone. The agency heads and the President churn out every 4-8 years. The result is, as Bill Clinton said, a government inside the government that the President does not control. How could he? Time is on the government's side. Term-limit Congress & judges, and now there's literally nobody more powerful than the permanent bureaucracy.

IMO, if we could have anything, an amendment stating expressly that the whole executive branch is under the entire control of the President, and that he may hire or fire or change employment policy at his discretion, that would change everything. Imagine if Trump could have just fired the entire FBI on day 1 of the witch hunt, then started shuttering whole wings of the State Dept when they ignored him.

Another issue is perpetual consent decrees. Those need to be limited by law. The way it works now is, someone the ruling party is friends with can sue the government for something absurd, and the government can then immediately settle, giving the litigant everything they want in exchange for nothing, and bind all future governments by the decree, bypassing Congress.

If the Senate went back to the states, suddenly, the most powerful chamber of Congress is no longer directly answerable to shrieking women who saw a crying child on TV.

You are talking about article 2 of the constitution.
The last "decision" from the supreme court declaring firing bureaucrats "takings" is not only absolute bullshit, but ANCIENT HISTORY.
Just fire bureaucrats day 1, and if they sue, litigate all the way to the CURRENT supreme court.
We have a window of about 8 years to get this shitty decision overturned.

You do realize this is costing the Western Governments probably billions per day to pay and supply their militaries. That will be need to be printed by the Central Banks. Which will continue to devalue your earnings. It seems as long as you can see someone on the other side of the world get obliterated by a missile I suppose it's all worth it to you Americans.

As buffoonish as this guy can come off... he's sorta right - way too many people in the conscription age (18-25) are too fat or have some condition or drug addiction to join up. Conscription would backfire so badly it wouldn't be funny and subject the US to a much LARGER national security crisis than just a few years of missing recruitment numbers. Imagine getting a bunch of 20-23 year old men who absolutely despise the US government and have absolutely nothing to lose by going against a system that dragged them in without a choice. If a WW3 style event pops off, nukes will be flying long before anyone could get conscripted, anyway, and this guy looks... what? Late 20's? He's aged out of the draft anyway unless that Obama "up to 35" policy is enacted. See all those pro-Palestine protests outside the White House today and tell me conscripting all those Zoomers to protect Israel by invading Iran or something wouldn't backfire IMMEDIATELY. Two countries were invaded by the US at the same time during GWOT, so part of me is doubtful conscription would be used in that case if Uncle Sam decides to pull the trigger over Iran.

I get why these things get posted (WW3 and draft doomposting) to this thread along with a few pages of slap fights - slow news day. Like clockwork, these kinds of posts pop up when there's nothing to talk about, not that I'm saying US boots on the ground in the Mideast 100% WON'T happen in the next few years, but still.

So I guess the Pro-Hamas far lefty protestors just scaled the fence and are fighting the Secret Service, who are trying to keep them away from the White House?

That's crazy, didn't even know someone could embed razors into pieces of paper. If not that, maybe they taped them to a pole and put them in places where people would naturally usually move their hands when tearing something off of it?

Happened during the BLM riots and there were several people screaming in Chinese that time, too. Keep your ears open.

They won't mock Biden for going into the bunker though. Never.
