2 TikTok troons have made a bit of a splash recently in terms of controversy. These 2,
Max and Jory, are both gay men cosplaying as women. They have been together for 11 years, and now Jory has seemingly forced Max into trooning out. I'm unsure of their birth names, so I'm just going with the names they both use publicly.
The context of this controversy has to do with a charity fundraiser hosted by Jory and another troon named
Mercury Stardust. In this 30 hour charity, they raised 2 million dollars for a charity named
Point of Pride, and reserved the final $250,000 dollars for Jory to recieve FFS (Facial feminization surgery) and Mercury to recieve a breast augmentation. However, not long after this charity event took place, Jory's boyfriend Max troons out. Of course, Jory celebrates this publicly on TikTok, and after Max comes out as transgender the same surgeon who did Jory's FFS is doing Max's FFS too. Another important note is that in 2020, after Jory came out as nonbinary (Whatever the fuck that means), so did Max. There seems to be a historic need for Max to just follow whatever Jory does to a horrifying degree.
Immediately other TikTok troons start calling out this behavior from Jory, and accusations start piling in about Jory forcing Max into transitioning. This of course included a multi-TikTok saga of Jory crying about how people are accusing him of this and how Max of course did this by choice, while Max sits in the background and doesn't say a word. Whether it's the post-surgery depression of realizing that he just permanently fucked up his face, or just not being able to talk because his face is absolutely smashed in from the surgery, it definitely seems like Jory pushed him into transitioning. Max has shown no previous interest in transitioning publicly, has never dressed up in womens clothing or worn makeup, and even now after FFS is not (To my knowledge) on hormones. I think in a few months Max will end up detransitioning and hopefully split from this obviously fucked up relationship he's in.

The before and after of Max trooning out. That's definitely a happy face.
More information on Point of Pride: They are an organization that provide "gender affirming care" to minors and adults alike. On their website they publicly state they're willing to send chest binders and resources to people 13 and up, and say that the only reason they don't provide this care to people younger than 13 is because of issues with the law. Other than binders, they also provide electrolysis (Hair removal) FFS, HRT (Hormones) and "femme shapewear". Very clearly an organization you want to give 2 million dollars to. They definitely won't misuse the funds.
