I'm seeing statistic thrown around claiming that Israel has already killed more civillians than Russia has in its 2 years of invasion.
Any confirmations of that?

Problem is with this is the people counting "civilian deaths" have a vested interest to make sure that number looks as high as possible. Plus, so far, I haven't heard Hamas share any information on any dead Hamas militants throughout the conflict.

Earlier in this thread though, the list of dead by the Gazan Health Ministry also had Hamas fighters listed alongside civilians.

Basically, it might be possible but who the fuck knows?

The plan is going to be to place Gaza under siege, make it as unlivable as possible to force as any many civilians flee to Egypt/Europe as possible.
Probably won't be doable in a single go, but the more the reduce the population of Gaza, the less strength hamas will have to draw on.

So, what are they going to do once Gaza becomes an empty field with rubble? Occupy the land and turn it into Israel territory? Hamas are helping Israel accomplish what they always wanted. More dominance over Palestine. Israel pretty much have full support of the UN and the entire western world to secure Gaza and kick any muslim out of the land.

Just read an article about the Palestinians with Israeli work permits who were in Israel when shit hit the fan and ended up stuck there being interrogated for a while after. (Side note: the Israeli explanation for holding them there was that allegedly several of the Hamas attackers on the 7th actually held israeli work permits and it’s believed Hamas got their maps of targets and intel on the population of the kibbutzes from other permitted workers who basically cased the area and reported back. So they interrogated all permitted workers who were in Israel at the time to see if any were Hamas affiliated and had info on where hostages were being kept.)

It is for the funsies. Like Hamas, their goal is to kill as many Israelis as possible, and I'm sure they've got plenty of RPGs to spare. They don't view it as a waste.

Also, Hezbollah is desperate at this point for any accomplishment that they can spin to their fan base as a victory over the Zionists. For the past few weeks they've been sending dozens of fighters to their deaths against the IDF with nothing to show for it other than a few damaged antennas and burnt cars in Kiryat Shemona. If they can kill a random Israeli driver, that's better than nothing.

Remember, it took days even weeks before Israel had stopped counting and ID the bodies from the terror attack (they are still doing it to my knowledge).
Hamas will fudged the numbers. They will also claim that hamas fighter #1488 was a civilian.

my guess is that they plan to achieve full military occupation, then use military police + shin bet + mossad to find and detain everybody who held any significant position in hamas. this effectively ends hamas as an organisation in gaza, the remaining leaders in qatar would be irrelevant because they would no longer hold any power or influence over what happens on the ground.

I don't hate Jews for their beliefs and I don't hate Israel for existing. I hate them because they project ideals onto others with extreme prejudice while violating every one of their own principals when it comes to defending Jews. So I strongly disagree that all Jews on the left will stay there. Most aren't that extreme - just look at the numbers from Democrat primaries and recent presidential elections: as a voting bloc they tend to vote for the Dem closest to the center. At the very least, this has brought the vast majority of them closer to the center. gaza has no formal alliances with any state so nobody is obligated to do anything.
however a move like that would annihilate any goodwill israel has with the rest of the world, leaving it completely isolated. even america most likely won't keep up its support if israel goes hiroshima on gaza.
