More importantly, I think it underscores the fact that there's a audience for trial content. The personality of the commentator is secondary to interest in the content being commentated on. Nick could be completely drunk (as he likely is), do a trial stream right now, and people would probably watch it.

Frankly, Nick's content can't compete with the now more-established LawTube marketplace, and I think part of his spiral into alcoholism and pivot comes from that understanding. Nick's primary value as a court-case content creator does not stem from his wit or legal analysis, but more saying the things people of certain politics want to hear and dressing it up in a pseudo-legal rationale. Almost all of Nick's former fans who comment here, including yourself, tend to gravitate towards his identity and political stances as the motives for watching, more than any of his legal analysis. Rittenhouse and Amber Heard were big for Nick, not so much because of the quality of his content, but because it had the right politics at the right time.

Nick doesn't like court-room content. He doesn't have the expertise for it. Bullshitting as much as he does becomes stressful when you're dealing with something susceptible to being shown incorrect and untrustworthy like legal analysis. Alcohol helps get through being a fraud, but only so much. Nick wants to be a political crank for sexual disinhibited libertarians, not a legal commentator.

A tip I've been told but have never actually done personally is that Hong Kong has a lot of Savile Row-tier tailors for a fraction of the price, and you can get something like ten no-name suits for the price of one in London. I have no idea how true this is.

People told me the same thing about Thailand. I went. I bought suits. I was hugely disappointed.

It could be that I didn't spend enough money to get the good shit. But I think the problem was the time that they make them in. English bespoke tailors do multiple fittings at each stage of the process. You don't see them much outside Savile Row any more -- people don't wear suits -- but I had a few made when I was younger and it was the same process. You go in. They measure you. The measurements go off. They cut the first pattern in some kind of lining material. You go back. You try on the pattern. They adjust it all for fit. Then it goes off for cutting in cloth. You go back in again. You try it on again. They figure out where it needs adjusting. Off it goes again. It should be fine when it comes back, but if it's anything less than perfect, it goes back again.

Despite the enormous costs, nobody makes a shedload of money out of it. You're really paying for the sheer amount of time involved in making them. A shop like Huntsman has a minimum of three fittings and the actual tailors put over 80 man hours into each suit. It takes about 16 weeks from first appointment to the time that you get your suit.

These Thai tailors (and I believe the actual tailors were mostly Indians working for Thai owners, so trained in the English model with tailors established in the days of the Raj) would measure you on the day, you go back tomorrow and your suit is ready. If it needs adjustments, they'll do them when you pick it up but you're not getting the same attention to detail. And while they tell you the hand stitching is hand stitching -- and I believe them -- it wasn't the immaculate hand stitching you get on real Savile Row suits.

The big cost with Savile Row is really the real estate -- and none of the tailors actually work there any more. Those are just shop fronts these days. The men who do the cutting, the people who do the hand stitching, make the buttons, etc. all work in much cheaper locations these days. But none of them earn anything like an average salary. It's very much a labour of love for those who work in the industry.

Unintentionally, you have fallen into the emotional trap that the enemies of the Farms use to spin up a faux moral outrage. It is also a tactic that Nick is using: speculation.

They 'innocently' wonder what could possibly be done with information and paint nightmarescapes populated with unrealised horrors calculated to shock the sensibilities of the common person. They conflate 'possibility' with 'threat', and that conversion gives them excuse to call for action and moral authority to prevent the predicted tragedy from occurrence. Thus they weave justification whole cloth to cover their baiting tactics. They are not perceived as the instigator; merely the one 'asking questions'. They co-opt the subconscious anxieties and ignorance of others to manufacture fear.

The Farms is dedicated (with some few exceptions who are summarily banned) to laughing at publicly displayed behaviour with ZERO direct contact. 'Laugh and move on.' This is the Kiwi M.O.

There are a lot of people present in this thread who have a lot more information that could be released on people related to Nick, but they have not done so. Why? Because it is not funny and serves no purpose. See I thought you needed alot of vram to train model's so I'm probably going to upgrade to a 4080 soon I thought about the 4090 but it seems like over kill and the heat dissipation issues stopped me from upgrading to the 4000 series. I'm also lazy and don't want to replace my motherboard because I'm running an experimental bios setting on an asrock a320m hdv to run my ryzen 5600x and it said something about "increased compatibility with nvidia 4000 series GPU's" in the latest update so it's probably not ideal to use.
