I think that might be one of the reasons he is with gunt, he knows he will never have to worry about an accidental pregnancy if he is ever 'forced' to consummate their unholy union. He knows. Even if she had a uterus and was perfectly healthy, it would be challenging to conceive at her age. And it's not like he's fucking her anyway, so what does he care whether or not she's barren? Even if her plumbing was still in order, he would give zero fucks. His goal is to BTFO of Kuwait... if he wanted an anchor baby to secure his papers, he would have gone for a woman 10-20 years younger, and 200-300 lbs lighter than Chantal.

Obesity is not only causing physical limitation because the obvious, i.e. carrying excess weight, but also due to structural changes in both the nervous system (central as well as peripheral) and the skeletomuscular tissues.

A fatty might be carrying more lean muscle than a skinny but yet be unable to preform task that the skinny can. It is because muscle quality also matters. Quite an interesting study where muscle quality was poor in ~ 80% of the obese (BMI >35, so more than Chantal qualifies) subjects. This was not a strength issue, it was a muscle quality issue.

Try putting on your thickest ski gloves. I think it will give you a good feel for Chantal's hands, both for the thickness but also the dexterity. Then try to cook and hold utensils/cups. Haven’t watched this yet but judging by the comments, this trek is as hard or harder than most imagine and comes with plenty of health risks even if you’re fit.

For some unfathomable reason, (it’s Monday?), I’d like to watch HER watch it, just to see her facial expressions.

Base Camp hike is on my bucket list but unless I win lotteries I never play, will never happen.

But if it became feasible, you can bet your add I’d up my weight bearing, hiking game months ahead of such a wonderful trip and still expect to have to metaphorically crawl part of it.

But man, it would be so worth it.


ETA: I just watched the video and THAT is what a good travel blog looks like. We’ll filmed and edited and full of useful facts and interesting tidbits without sounding pedantic.
