The guard has been nationalized plenty of times since FDR.
Either POTUS has that authority or does not.
Given it's been used copious times in my lifetime, I'll go with "he does"
You really are dense are you?

The issue is that Matthis, Miley, etc were all plotting against Trump and would have disobeyed Trump blatantly refusing to obey the order to stop the rioting if Trump sent in the national guard if not outright screamed "RED LIGHT ENGAGED! COUP TIME!" and basically had their loyalist forces suddenly opening moving to arrest Trump on bullshit treason charges while Pelosi and company aided them said treasonous coup.

Trump was fucked either way and letting the cities burn while making asking for national guard troops contingent on governors ASKING FOR IT, was his only option since the traitor fucks that would have had to carry out the mobilisation if ordered by Trump, were looking for their excuse to pull a Pinochet and arrest Trump/force Trump to kill himself ala Allende and seize power for the DNC if not themselves if they felt particularly cunty.

Voting Official: "It's ok that the machines cannot tally the votes correctly, we will just fix it later and the votes will be correct as they were put in."
Judge: "Sounds good to me. There is no possible way this wouldn't be 100% secure and I can see absolutely no issues or break of trust happening. Legal."

:stress:

I am in awe. The judge isn't stupid, he simply is complicit.
What REALLY pisses me off about the machines is that it's absurdly easy to do right. Any bad voting machines can't really be considered incompetence. It's malice all the way.

The damn old school lever machines were probably the best. Odometers that you would read it out a total, and no fuckery could really be done. Each booth could be held as long as needed after the vote to just check the total.

Rashida Tlaib cry a river.

Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) broke down in tears today during a debate over the censure resolution that accuses her of anti-Semitism. The resolution, which has been a point of contention within the House, stems from previous statements made by Tlaib that her critics claim crossed the line into anti-Semitic territory.

Earlier on Tuesday, Georgia Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene (R) introduced a second motion to censure “Squad” member Tlaib, this time related to her support for an illegal occupation of a federal building by protestors calling on Congress to support a ceasefire by Israel in its war with Hamas.

Rep. Tlaib defended herself during her speech, claiming the safety concerns that anti-Semitism presents to all communities, while highlighting the plight of Palestinians and their human rights. “Anti-Semitism makes us all less safe,” Tlaib said.

“My sitti, my grandmother, like all Palestinians, just wants to live her life with freedom and human dignity we all deserve.”

The Michigan Representative was defended by fellow Democrat, Rep. Debbie Dingell, who engaged with constituents over the weekend to gauge the sentiments regarding the phrase “from the river to the sea,” which has been a flashpoint in the debate.

I voted. Does anybody have that image that says: Democrats: We will import migrants, rape your children.... something like that and the bottom of it has Republican: That's insane.

Fetterman Covers Office Walls With Israeli Hostages, Vows to Leave Up Until They Return Home Safely

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., on Tuesday covered the front of his office with posters of Israeli hostages taken by Hamas, calling for their release.

"In my front office I have displayed the posters of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas," Fetterman wrote on X. "They will stay up until every single person is safely returned home."

The senator has been vocal about his support for Israel, but unlike many of his fellow Democrats, Fetterman has been clearly against a ceasefire.

"Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire," he wrote in a statement earlier in October. "We must support Israel in their efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered innocent men, women, and children. Hamas does not want peace, they want to destroy Israel. We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized."
